You really really don't. I'll admit I haven't played DBD but I've played Left 4 Dead 2 for almost 8,000 hours since 2009, I know exactly what I'm doing most of the time, and I still get team mates descending into a violent autistic rage trying to votekick me. Either because I made a single trivial mistake after carrying the team for 3 straight rounds, or if nobody made any mistakes and we simply got outplayed or unlucky and they need a kick to offload blame and frustration, or even when they themselves were responsible for failure but they lack the game sense to understand why. It's just muscle memory to them, failure = not my fault = apportion blame = vote kick, within a matter of milliseconds.

Maybe one in ten games I join goes all the way, probably less than that, with the overwhelming majority ending with being accused of hacking, being votekicked, or one of the teams rage quitting. There are certain times of day where 3/4 open lobbies you join are 4 pubstompers waiting to play against 4 randoms so that they can steamroll the map, laughing and gloating and spamming chat binds the entire time while the enemy team cycles player after player as each one quits. Then the pubstomp team inevitably goes whisper quiet and silently rage quits themselves the moment a competent player or two joins the opposing team and they begin to put up a fight.

It's an absolutely rancid cesspool of a "community". A living steaming pile of shit if I ever smelled one. I still play the game because it's just that fun, but I make sure to hit F2 out of spite more than anything else whenever one of those cunts calls a vote kick on another player.
