Crimson Desert looks alright but it has anything BUT the coolest lighting in any game. If anything, it's lighting system is the shittest part by far and large because of how many fucking noise and ghosting artifacts it produces.

Not really, if the game requires a specific setting to have the lighting look good then it isn't the best lighting around. Any game with true Path Tracing blows it out the water in that regard then.

No, I have a 4080 Super and like I already said, the game does look good but to say it has the best lighting system when that is arguably the one place where it actually falls short due to the insane artifacting is just funny.

Look, endless gray mountains, oh look a gray concrete ruin, and back there behind this ocean of featureless rock, there's a gray concrete tower. Or perhaps you'd like to explore that expanse of generic trees? Where's the distinctive style, the exaggerated features to make the world look interesting and magical? Serious question, because any passing familiarity with what rocks, trees, or buildings look like would tell you very quickly that Crimson Desert is very obviously going for an as realistic as possible look. How you can even claim that the game isn't chasing photorealism is honestly baffling when a single look tells you the whole story.
Or wait, is your retardation actually not that you don't know what reality looks like, but rather that the inclusion of any fictional and/or fantastic event precludes a game from going for photorealism?
