You Ash Stage Landing because it's one of the choke points for getting the lambda cards on the field. The other method is Valcan, Operation Test and Lambda Cannon itself.
Yes, stage landing is not OPT, but it meaningfully weakens the endbord. It's not a snake-eyes situation where you just handloop yourself.
RB does not actually want to draw many of the RB monsters, It wants to draw generic engines that put 2 bodies for Valcan, and draw the spells.
