FInished Otogi 2 and was pretty pleased with it, extremely solid 8/10. Really unique and a great expansion over 1.
Now i'm a bit lost, been a while since i felt a post game void. I'm still itching for 6th gen action games, so i'm going to try Shinobi for the PS2 but i'm open to other lesser known, somewhat janky but still fun and kino hack n slashes/action games of the same time period.

Still watching Fairy Tail. Now on to Phantom Lord arc. Galuna was fine-ish, had some solid bits but it felt flat when the arc undid all it's stakes at the last moment. Still, Phantom Lord is pretty solid, feels like theres actual risk and that characters may actually lose something, and the whole grail being involved makes it nice, all those background fodder characters of the previous episodes becoming relevant without later bloat is pretty good. ALso funny that levy is often paired with Gajeel as couple when he literally beat her to almost death when they first met. Anyway, those shitposters at /a/ may have a point over it being the best arc. But i'm still holding my breath until i watch tower of heaven.

I really liked Dimension of the Machine, it was a nice taste of an official Arcane Dimensions style modern Quake. The Doom new episode was a bit meh though, I agree with the other guy that source ports are better for the most part, but yeah the extras and everything you get with the remasters are top tier. You even get making of and old, long lost demos.

I think I made it to the turning point of my graduate career. really good games like space station 13's ratwood station- I recently learned how to summon water, torrenting whirlpools which are impossible to escape without blink, building a bridge, or having an exceptionally high skill in swimming all of which most player characters do not readily have when they happen upon my magical watery chaos. And also I've discovered how to walk on air with my summoned whirlpools. I can summon these spring wells on open air then swim across and I can go fishing in them too. It's very fun.

Leon sections are good as good as RE4 make but have good set pieces and front load with new enemies before bringing back versions of the classic ones. Grace sections are actually good and if you decide to upgrade your shooting capacity play like more traditional RE ok terms of ammo management. the flashback scene in as one of the clones/bioengineered elpis Grace's was surprisingly good, getting a new view on RE labs. Even if the creepy child angle would have worked just as well if it was implied through documents and would have made a more kino lab section for the child

GTA Vice City Nextgen Edition - completed 100%. Kinda janky, but still a great port. Just make sure to install not only the 1.2 patch everyone shills, but also RX Side Mission Fixes V2 - otherwise 1.2 makes the RC chopper race impossible. Haven't seen anyone mentioning that until I got screwed myself.

Far Cry Instincts (xemu) - the game consolefags got instead of the actual Far Cry 1. Just started today, surprisingly kino. The story's an alternative take on FC1, except here you're mutating and gaining superpowers too (haven't got to that part yet). There's optional stealth, setting traps with bent branches, even dual wielding - two Berettas always make me feel cool as shit. OG Xbox emulation is shit tho, so the water looks weird and I gotta keep the res native to prevent more visual glitches. But at least the game's playable now.

Nikke - dailies, ch.24. Got almost 40k gems saved for the anni, hope that'll be enough for a copy of each.

CS2 - won a premier match on Nuke. The last round was pretty funny - the enemy guy clutched 1v1, but couldn't find the bomb on a clear site, been running in circles 'till it was too late.

Animal Crossing without the boring parts I'd say, little bit of Sims I guess, but mostly leaning towards Animal Crossing. Way more creative options and your miis prompt you pretty often. Altough, it is more like watching an antfarm, you're just a god and an observer watching your miis lives, feeding them, building them stuff and maybe punting them in a direction or two. I like it because of the silly stuff.

Just find it odd that they added all these customization options and stuff and decided to not have a way to share them with people online. So you'll have to do everything yourself I suppose, I don't mind it too much.

At the moment, really awful. Part of my new job is finding people several days after they've died, and yesterday was my first. Got a tip on an elderly lady who was unreachable and did a safety inspection at her home. The smell hit me as soon as I opened the door, and I found her in the kitchen. Either natural causes or an accident, but it was really rough. The back of her wheelchair gave out and she was slumped backwards, with her face entirely black and locked in an expression of horror, and a puddle of black post-mortem purge fluid leaking from her face all over the floor. Hopefully she passed before the chair broke, but it's probable she was stuck like that and was calling for help in vain until her body gave out. Had nightmares last night about her crawling on me in my bed, and I still have that smell stuck in my sinuses. Didn't know her all that well, but I'd spoken to her on the phone and met with her several times to help her out with various stuff, including as recently as a week ago, and I had to notify her daughter who had been talking with me recently about planning to move her somewhere soon. I've got no plans to marry or have kids myself, so this is likely how I'll end up dying, too. Just a grim end of the week.

Doom E1M6 broke me, I lost 10 minutes of progress and the level is so shit so I guess I'm never beating doom. Quake is such an insane leap in comparison, the secrets design too(I know doom2 came out first)

Yep, first time. And I've been checking Smoking out at the local library. It's crazy how much stuff you can find at libraries in the US nowadays. I checked out Stellar Blade (which I eventually bought from a friend who had his fill), Expedition 33, and Bayonetta Origins.
