I dont think anyone is regarded that highly here or with normies. I agree with it. Maybe Mitsuda is a second. Jesper Kyd is good as well amongst the western composers

I agree. I was extremely excited about his single track showing in ff7 rebirth but it fell flat. His soundtrack for Fantasian was pretty decent for a shitty mobile game but that was still 4 years ago
