Is Nioh 3 worth buying? Or I'll be better buying nioh 2 on steam(have it on ps4, but I barely turn my ps4 since half of decade ago)?

In its current state, 2 with DLC is better but 3 is fantastic too and whether it will overtake 2 depends on the quality of DLCs.
They need to patch in pic related as a sword skill in particular because it's literally used by MC's mentor in the first 20 minutes

That’s not reflective of the quality. The dlc in 2 was pretty decent. The new environments were refreshingly distinct from the main game and the new enemies really add to the game when it’s all combat. Old samurai in particular serves up many enemies that challenge someone and the dlc bosses are generally good as well.

play through 2, once you finish it, take a break, and then pick up 3.
preferably closer to september which is when the first DLC for 3 releases
3 is AMAZING but NG+ isn't really worth playing yet atm, sadly.

>Stance switching feels more like a necessity
as it should be, it's a core part of the game and I strongly dislike it that it's possible to finish a game without it

I beat nioh 1 with all of its DLCs on all the difficulties whenever that came out
Gave my PS4 away and swapped to PC mid way through nioh 2 and never played it again. Maybe I should give it a shot again.
I heard the mods were pretty good for nioh 2. Is that true or is alot all coomer and cheat shit

I've been playing it since launch, still halfway through the game.
RoTR is a better game imo, I beat it in less time and felt more playing it, it's also a faithful recreation of Yokohama, Edo (Tokyo) and Kyoto during the upheaval following Matthew Perry's arrival. The game has british and american characters so it's more relatable to a player from a western country.
