They never left the dark age. Talk to anyone that isn't a cattlefag and they'll mention old capcom games from the ps1 era and thats it.
>>
>>737125406
They're still in the Crapcom era
>>
>SFV
>the dark age
>being able to earn every DLC character for free
>frequent updates that addressed all the issues with the game
>the dark age isn't the SF4 games for windows live era
whoever made this is was obviously born in the new millenium
>>
They still are Crapcom???
>>
Crapcom is still here. Just that everyone else sucks more

Dark age was PS3/360 era, it's obvious they had no idea what they were doing, but that's not just Capcom but every Japanese game company, it's like they were completely blindsided by 7th gen hardware, the new online capabilities, and the exponential growth of gaming as a whole.

Modern Capcom is still shit and nowhere near where they were before HD but they understand the market like no other company, they're razor sharp focused and deliver exactly the kind of slop modern gamers crave.

I will not take this Lost Planet 1/2 slander. There was never a real "era" of nonstop hits. Every big publisher, even Capcom, puts out duds.

Well SF IV is a fantastic fighting game and SFV was trash and especially at launch when all the top characters just had neutral skip buttons into 50/50 mix ups
>>
>was

It still is. Did you think we left the Dark Age?
>>
>>737125406
We haven't left the Dark Age yet though, Capcom just cultivated an audience that eats whatever slop is thrown at them.
>>
Making a business out of pushing out demakes is most definitely a dark age

Nobody buys their new IPs. Maybe Pragmata will change that.

the fuck are you talking about? sf4 was only good for a short window during super. for most of its lifespan that game has been a broken piece of shit that only got any recognition because a racist mutt and a nignog decided to make a youtube series about it.

Wow bro, you're so fucking cool and enlightened.

Don't talk about Mike Ross like that

Yeah?
>Lost Planet 3
>Bionic Commando
>Dark Void
>Street Fighter X Tekken
>Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 making people rebuy the game for an update/DLC
>Resident Evil 6
>Dead Rising 4 being a vestigial problem of all this
>cancelling or never importing certain hot projects because of internal drama
>trying to do on-disc DLC and online pass shit
Ignoring the contrarians that complain and moan about anything with a pulse, they're still scummy fucks and haven't totally unlearned their lesson, but they're not churning out absolute fucking dumpster fires and telling you you love it.
