I played Untertale a few years ago, it was pretty fun. I defeated the flower boss. I heard there is different endings to it but I never played the other endings, I hate replaying games doing the same thing multiple times just to get rewarded with a different cutscene
Should I play Deltarune? I bought it a few months ago but its just sitting in my library. Been playin Arc Raiders and Warzone the past half a year.
Will I have to play Deltarune half a dozen times just to understand it or can I just beat it in one go?

DT is definitely better than Undertale, but keep in mind Deltarune is meant to be a game for people who completed Undertale. Besides, doing the pacifist run doesn't require you to start over, you're just sent back before entering the CORE to do the side quests that unlock the Pacifist, it's 100% new content from there, almost no backtracking.
So if you really wanna play DT I'd recommend you do the good ending for UT and then start on DT.

Why do I need to do the good ending in Undertale to understand Deltarune?
I think the flower boss i killed was the neutral ending if I recall.
Is there a youtube video I can watch instead. I don't want to replay Undertale, I already beat it.

Answering that is kind of a spoiler and I don't like dropping spoilers without a warning.

Yeah, that's Photoshop Flowey/Omega Flowey. You don't have to fight him again on a second playthrough, because he remembers you already fought and beat him and doesn't want to go through that again.

There are (and there's also an excellent fanmade musical that covers pretty much everything), but dude, a single playthrough isn't really that long, there are subtle differences on replays, and you only need to replay the game once at the bare minimum to reach the pacifist ending if you already know what to do. If you didn't kill anyone on your first playthrough you can just reload at the Asgore fight, go back and do the stuff you need to reach the pacifist ending. I can sum it up if you want.

Undertale has two other "routes". A "true pacifist" route (beat the normal ending without killing anyone, then reload the save from right before Asgore and complete a bunch of new stuff, more or less considered the true ending), and a"genocide route"; if you grind hard enough on the first area, you start to get a spookier atmosphere and a counter of how many enemies are left alive. Kill all the enemies in each area, kill the area bosses, and you'll get some alternate boss fights and a radically different final area.
Deltarune more or less has three routes currently, but time will tell how much they actually diverge.

Ok I'll watch a YouTube video on the pacifist ending. I don't want to play pacifist that sounds gay and boring.

If you like musicals, you can also watch this: https://youtu.be/opUb5hdzRRA
And the pacifist route is actually my favorite route.

Interesting. I'm not fond of this musical video, I've contracted HIV scrolling through this gay coded furry abomination. But thanks for the information.

Warzone Call of Duty is one of the most popular games of all time. Has been sitting on #2-#3 in console charts for many years.
Arc Raiders is a popular extraction shooter that released last year.

If you played Undertale, you will probably like Deltarune. You should at least try to play or watch a playthrough of the genocide and pacifist route. Deltarune only has two real routes and one ending according to Toby, so you probably don't need to replay it.

DR is better but I can't stand the Homestuck-tier furry melodrama in it, it just depends if you can stomach the Tumblr writing that gets more obnoxious every chapter. Chapter 1 though 3 are worth playing for classic UT humor and vibes but I massively regret playing chapter 4 and won't be playing the rest.

Wow bro you haven't heard or played of the most popular games of all time? You are so unique and special! Have a cookie.

I remember having fun playing Undertale, and I see Deltarune threads here a lot.

This is alarming. I found Undertale tolerable with no issues, but I definitely understand the grooming epidemic going on in the Undertale/Deltarune community. I didn't think the games actually reflected the communities actions though.
If they do reinforce that identity and ideology though I'd drop it.
But my tolerance for such things is higher than most here. I played Spiderman 2 and thought it was fine, other than MJ being uglified to appease feminists

the fandom is fucking retarded nigger what did you expect? All the very deep themes akin to a greek tragedy fly over their head because they're obsessed with the game being "heccin comfy" and "relatable"
I found the only tolerable people to discuss this game on /v/, and only on /v/ because the undertale general on /vg/ is a can of worms in on itself
