I like the violinist of hamelin game for snes. Based on a mediocre shonen anime but has great unique gameplay, kind of like more puzzle focused kirby. You get this npc follower who you use to fight enemies and solve puzzles with by dressing them up in different costumes that change their abilities, like turning them into a frog so you can ride them up to high places

The berserk ps2 game is also ok.

Sand land was a single-volume oneshot manga from like 30 years ago. Im not sure why they decided to make a game about it but it stands out among other anime tie in games, because its not any kind of ongoing franchise.
