Could they? Sure. Will they? Probably not. Capcom has tons of great, neglected IPs under their belt. Unfortunately, they're among the most jewish Japanese game devs and aren't interested in making games that don't bring in Monster Hunter, RE, or Street Fighter levels of cash. They've even let Mega Man fall largely into obscurity simply because they haven't found a way to monetize the fuck out of it

Well yea? They're a buisness first. They aren't going to make passion games that are a net loss, that would be retarded. Megaman doesn't sell, Joe definitely wouldn't sell. Most of these ips are from experimental times when they wanted to see what would stick.

I don't think Mega Man games typically LOSE money. They just don't make as much as Monster Hunter. Given that MH games also take much longer and are more expensive to develop, it would just be nice if Capcom could find a way to work in smaller, cheaper, fan favorite games into their schedule.
