Yes. Thumbsticks by themselves aren't a reliable and fast method of aiming, that's why games introduce auto aiming for controllers. With a mouse you don't need that, there's enough precision there. Same thing with gyro, it's not as precise as a mouse but it's way better than thumbsticks alone.

I use M/KB for almost every game I play. Every time I used controller I ended up trying M/KB and instantly doing better. I'm genuinely convinced that all the people insisting it's unplayable or objectively worse for so many genres are retards confusing bad support or default binds for an inherent fault of it. I have a PC but I've been using my controller a lot more than MKB. I really only use MKB for shooters and the only one I play is TF2 and that's infrequent. Couldn't imagine playing a Fromsoft game without a controller, or even a JRPG.
