The time limits are extremely generous to the point they may as well not exist. You can goof around for weeks before completing the objectives. Most dungeons can be cleared in a day or 2 at most if you're not stingy with your consumables.

Purse Owner 5, like most of the previous, makes it very easy to actually finish the game before the calendar time limit. That's mostly for optional stuff so it's hard to do it all in time. It's mostly a pretty easy RPG with way more talking than fighting, so you should be fine doing whatever. Sometimes a boss will give you trouble, but that means try again with a better plan.

Gameplay wise play around with demon fusion, try and keep hold of resist elements so you can cancel out weaknesses, and prioritise social links. Generally you should be able to clear a dungeon within one run, maybe a second if you're struggling, so get your social links up beforehand.

Merciless makes it so everything takes 3x damage when you strike weakness or land technical/critical hits.
Royal changed a lot of boss fights to incorporate weaknesses so you do way more damage. Of course you take 3x damage when one of your allies gets exposed but the system still favors the player.
The hardest boss on Hard becomes the easiest boss on Merciless.

you have to strength up to level 10 the bond with the doctor maruki, the mental consuler that comes to school to help student, is crucial that you level him up to level 10 before he leaves the school, if you dont do it, you cant proceed the DLC of yoshisawa by the end of the game and you will get the simpler end

i did my first run without knowing this, and have to restart everything from the beginning so you dont have to anon
