Imagine all the dust that will collect on his toys and how impossible it will be to clean them short of taking them all down for a soak in soapy hot water. This is why I stopped displaying Legos outside of a case.

If it were me I'd just have hentai and ecchi figures.
But I don't have the money and don't want to make my mom more mad at me than she already is lol.

no hate towards anyone who does this, but why is it that when ever an average/ugly/fat/etc does this, he's seen as autistic and obsessed, but if a good looking/fit/"well adjusted" guy does this then it's seen as passion and dedication?
Back at my place(currently visiting parents) i have a small gundam collection, less than 20 in total, and a few transformers, just a couple of masterpiece ones and 3 3rd party ones, and both my parents and my uncle say im obsessed and autistic about my "toys", on the other hand mu cousin(who is 7 years older than me) has a huge bayblade collection(over 300), neatly organized by series, generation, color, and what not, and both his parents and my parents think he's dedicated and passionate about his hobby, all cause he's fit and has a good haircut.
Im pretty sure that if i had that beyblade collection and he had my gundam/transformer one, i'd still be considered the autistic one cause why else would you have so many and so autistically ordered beyblades, while his would be seen as a casual hobby of things he likes and cause has just a few of them.
>inb4 maybe you are autistic and your and your cousin collections have nothing to do with it
oh i dunno, i trashed a couple of gundams after they fell and broke cause i didnt want to waste time gluing them, meanwhile he shouts "please dont touch them" each time anyone gets close to the shelves he has his spinning shit set up in, im pretty sure he's the autistic one

When you're attractive fit and hot, you already have your life in order. you can then do awkward or weird stuff with hobbies and it's seen as charming. When you're fat, you should be focusing on not being fat and disgusting. Anything that isn't to that end is a pathetic waste of your time.
>t. fat nerd

Is that really the case though? It's easy to bring up anecdotes where you were unfairly judged on something purely because of your appearance but it's not like conventionally attractive collectors never get called things like surface-level tryhard nerds, trust fund kids, selfish childless consumers, etc.
If anything, being attractive and having a nerdy hobby makes someone just as likely to be torn down by jealous people as some easy target who's autstic/fat/etc.

im not fat though(183cm, 79kg), i do exercise a bit, have a steady job, and a normal haircut
when i say he's fit, i dont mean he goes to the gym or anything, he's just skinny/lean and isnt fat, so despite being sligtly taller than me(185cm) and weighing less(no idea what his weight is, but you can 100% tell), his muscles are way more visible, he has a lower paying job than mine, but lives with his parents so he doesnt have to pay rent(hence why he can afford his collection)

that is exactly why i started my post with "no hate towards anyone who does this", i have nothing against my cousin, we're actually pretty close and on good terms, its his and my parents(as well as other family members) who see me as obsessed and him as dedicated, and i can assure you all of them have brought the topic up multuple times, such as saying i "should sell my autistic collection to make money(idiotic, since none of what i have is expensive or rare or worth anything), or constantly bragging how he added this or that many pieces to his collection, or how he spent many hours rearranging his collection in a different way etc.
