she's only rayciss if you didn't pay attention to Avina talking about the "lesser species" or talk to the ambassadors who make it very clear the Council plays favorites

Been thinking about replaying the series. Should I go for the remaster or stick to the tried and true? Can't say I've liked the visual changes I've seen out of the remaster like getting rid of the cool expressive skyboxes in favor of realism slop.

play the ogs on the 360 if you can
For ME3 you might want to download the og if you want to play multiplayer
I'm playing an extremely modded version of LE, I've hit a level where I can kind of accept it but it's a personal thing.
The original LE release kind of destroyed everything, but modders are obviously very passionate

It's like the people who complain about her character didn't engage with the gameplay. Curious. Mass Effect 3 explicitly says 99% of your current problems are because the Asari were power hungry and hoarded information related to the reapers.

There's even the volus who righteously complains about the 2nd class treatment and the elcor bitch that says he should get over it and realize the council is already kind to them. And then you go to the council chambers were there is background chatter where salariana and turian diplomats have several conversations shitting on the elcor/volus and hanar because they don't have the military strength and political power to be potential council candidates.

or the fact that the Batarians were the proto humans.
New found species used for their GDP only to be dumped once a better host subject (the Alliance) arrived
The Turians are alright. The Asari have repeated a pattern of abuse since arriving at the Citadel.
First they fucked some Rachni, then sicked the Krogan on them, then the Turians on the Krogan. You can tell by the way Tevos eye fucks Shepard throughout ME1 she's thinking about replacing the Turians as the enforcers

Same difference. Some ligger asks me to open a door, I don't bother listening.

If you have the originals just stick with them. Putting aside SOVLfags complaints about the lighting it doesn't really add much aside from QOL improvements with the Mako and removing swaying with the sniper rifle.

I'm glad this thread is filled with knowers that know how the Asari were the megajews of the setting, flashing their tits at every other species and tricking them into become de facto vassals under the guise of a generic space U.N. Curious how they claim to be diplomats but grandfathered in all these rules that restricts other species' militaries but their own.
They're probably fuck-ugly in reality but project a psychic illusion that makes them look like space babes to every race.

the x06 era Mass Effect even had Liara as more of a stereotypical femme fatale

Which is a scene that never made sense.
I don't know if the idea was supposed to be that serving on the Normandy changed her opinions or not but it seems to just come out of the blue that she would be strongly against humanity first. Especially considering her job. The role of the Alliance is humanity first. Why is she suddenly against this idea?
And the guy wasn't even that bad. He wasn't calling for war against aliens. He wasn't spreading crazy anti-alien conspiracy theories. He was just saying human politicians should prioritize humans. How is that something outrageous? That's literally their job. I'm sure all the other races' representative do the same thing for their own races.
It's like some commie intern writer snuck a stupid scene into the game or something and nobody noticed.

Ashley isn’t racist shes pragmatic from a family history of being attacked and disgraced from alien hubris and intervention. She also brings up a point of allowing outsiders onto an experimental, costly, prototype Alliance vessel. The Humanity First dudes just irrationally hate all non-humans.

>The Humanity First dudes just irrationally hate all non-humans.
No, they don't.
It's just a movement that believes the priority for humanity should be humanity's interests. If I don't give the homeless guy on the street free board in my home that doesn't mean I hate homeless people. It just means I'm prioritizing my own interests. It's a completely normal thing everyone does all the time and the game makes it quite clear almost all the other alien races are doing the same thing.

Ashley has that same sentiment but its a viewpoint of experience and logic. Not “i hate you because you’re blue or have 4 limbs.” Its the difference between someone growing up around jeets and niggers as opposed to a dude who lives in the suburbs watching tiktok webms of them on /pol/ from the comforts of their own home.
