You can get games at reasonable times in EU and NA. I think the game is just as fun as it was three years ago. EU omgers technically do custom games every now and then. Playerbase is slowly dwindling, and the next year or two are probably the last chance to just queue and get into a match.

1500 hours in and it's still the best game I've ever played. Current Steam store description is pretty on point. Once you realize how fun this game is it is impossible to quit.
Ranked is doing pretty alright even though matchmaking can be a mess these days. I haven't bothered with Norms or Quickplay in a while (except occasionally switching to NA to get my daily coin in Norms at 4AM).
