It's a game stage, not an anime stage, so there probably won't be any anime news. Last year they had both a game and an anime stage, but this year is just for the game.
And I dunno if we're gonna get ALL of that, but who knows. The VAs during the radio show were really pumped about the Anime Japan announcement, even moreso than the anniversary livestream. Since they're VAs, I imagine that probably means VA-related news, like Rielle and Mina's voices. Riddle I would also believe. I think all the logos for the dorms might not happen, those seem like something they'd trickle in over the next year as the new guys appear, but again who knows. We will know. In about 7 hours.

Twst is held up by merch sales and whales that are loyal to their fave boys. Enstars ranks way higher in terms of revenue then us but twst itself isn't extremely high cost to make so that helps.
We used to be higher in the charts before a lot of players started to leave due to content delays, like story updates are slow, new events aren't very frequent, and filler events like Masterchef were kinda boring. It didn't help that in the early days of twst the staff and Yana really struggled to get their footing because they were unprepared for twst being so popular when it came out, I knew so many people that left because the first anni was so shit.
I actually dropped the game for a while during the Pom arc because of the delays. I like twst, but it really is one of those gachas that you can drop and not have to come back to unless something big happens. Twst doesn't really ride on hype as much as most other gacha. RSA has done a pretty good job of bringing back oldfags though so that's something.

I do believe though that twst is one of those gachas that has an active enough fanbase which doesn't constantly rely on an abundance of new content. Twst's fanbase is on the same level of Harry Potter where nothing new would come out for years and there would still be fan content being made on the daily.

True. Usually when a gacha has slow ass updates and few events means it's on it's last legs but twst is a very unique case. Most of it's fanbase that spend are the ones that stayed despite the slowness of the game so even if the hype is nonexistent the game itself will be fine. Twst having a janky first few years and all the bs that happened with delays has condition everyone to just not expect anything right away anymore. It works to the games advantage since the twst staff and Yana can get away with minimal updates.

We have 4 remaining boys to reveal, there might a team that will have 3 rsa boys (Neige being one of them). I wonder if the Magic shift segment will be Nala and Godmother or Megara. Subverting expections would be putting Neige or Alice on this lol.

And that's fine, not everything is for everyone, if I get burnt out I can just leave. I get why they're adding the new guys and agree it's a good direction to go in and all that, but it's a lot. I doubt that. Otherwise most gacha with faster content wouldn't make a dime if working adults want everything to be slower. Some people just want faster content because from what I've seen they either only play twst so they have nothing else to invest in or they wish twst had more story because they want more content to enjoy. I won't deny there are some that are kids that like the game that are impatient, but twst is just slow and low maintenance in general to play. That's not a bad thing and works for the fanbase.

I don't play any other gacha so I have no frame of reference for what is better or worse, but it is nice that there seems to a more or less solid following for twst's style. No, I'm a working adult and I'm also grumbling about the schedule being too slow.

For years now it's been each boy get one(1) new card a year on their birthday and only one new event for Halloween which is ridiculous. The COVID excuse outstayed it's welcome years ago.

And events are the only draw because watching paint dry is more interesting than the core gameplay loop.

I suppose that the current system suits oldfags who logged in every day and this got to hoard birthday rewards but for people like me who have had years away and are considering coming back, one look at the dismal schedule made me go nah I'll pass.

To be fair even if I did play the only cards I'm willing to spread the folds of my wallet for is Silver (all) + Malleus and Ace sleepwear+bon bon, so it's not like Disney is missing much from me.

But half the cards are like nothingburgers anyway. So now that the set is complete, which OB cards do you like the most? For me it's Vil, Idia and Riddle. Azul would have been among my favorites too if he didn't look like he has a tooth gap but his groovy version is the best, along with Leona. I also have extremely high expectations for Riddle's groovy.

And it's easy to say "well duh he's her favorite character he is the main character everyone is supposed to like him" but this is Yana, her fav character from Beauty and the Beast is Mrs. Potts. She has successfully worked in Treasure Planet and Beauty and the Beast, two of her four favorites, and had entire collaborations with Stitch and Nightmare Before Christmas, her other two favorites. Does anyone here think there's a chance Silver will be transferred to the RSA mid-book? I really want to see Silver in the RSA uniform and the Rosa Auroria Dorm (and blonde), I know there will be several fan art pieces of this in the future, but could this happen in the game? The match being interrupted mid-game between Malleus and the Fairy and something like that happening? Imagine if Silver had actually received an invitation from the RSA but Crowley did something to make Silver laugh at his school?

I think we'll see Silver in the Rosa Auroria Dorm uniform, I don't think Yana would resist this, and I also think he'll have an important role in winning and using the Cup/Trophy. After all, it was his parents who stole the stone, and the whole cup has a lot of symbolism related to Disney princesses, so Silver, as one of them, will be important for some magic, just as the Overblots boys will be important for use in some magic and ritual concerning the final villain of this book.
