To the anon asking why you use the handheld rangefinder, it's more useful to have more of your screen visible the scope mount and extra verticality of the rangefinder block a lot of your screen and you either have to move your character which gets you spotted or accept a quarter of your screen is now obscured by the tower of autism on your gun.

I usually rush abandoned marked and kill anyone trying to open it, terragroup/mvd/concordia security, or hang around residential near tarbank to shoot at people going into lexos from that side (never fucking happens). Camping green flare is pretty shit but if you don't really feel like actively rushing gunshots and getting shot on the way to them 9/10 times it's an option.

I keep trying to make the rocket launcher work and it keeps doing fucking nothing for half a mil a shot. I watched more videos on it and learned that it tries to fill rooms and explode around cover. If you shoot it in the open it only has a 6m radius but if you shoot it in a tunnel it can go 20m+. It can curve around cover like if you shoot a pillar on factory it goes around hits the dude behind it. I figured shooting it here would absolutely nuke the fucker and it did nothing.

So far it's been completely peaceful for me, although it's barely been an hour since it dropped. I'm currently watching the fortress area on customs and haven't seen any pmcs and killed 4 of the masked scavs. I've definitely heard a lot of them, though.

The pillagers are kind of annoying, they can bounce rounds and have decently high head hp from what I can tell. They have shitty rounds but they have raider ai and will laser beam your chest/head in the open.

The pillager backpacks can have arena cosmetic items like the balaclavas and some of the arena sights like the swampfox.

It really depends. You can get away with a sidearm most of the time, but I've killed very geared players with a backup smg while doing SBiH on multiple occasions. Are you gunna be moving around the map the whole raid and have rubles to spare? If so then I'd run a backup smg. Otherwise just grab a 5-7 since it's the best pistol in the game and is plenty capable of clapping a pmc up close under the right circumstances.
It's mostly about money, anyway. If you have more money and gear than you could ever really give a shit about then just run an smg backup. I tend to run a bolt action as a backup rather than the other way around, but if you want a cheaper option then I always suggest the SR-2. It's flesh ammo is extremely affordable and has 20 pen, which means you can cuck death shadow users while still having the ability to quickly leg meta anyone else. The only real downside is the 30 round mags.
