Started on the new story today, looks like they're somewhat improving on the animation side. The dialogue portions have more movement and expressions compared to launch.
I'm surprised by how big the city map is. There's also shops and stalls spread around so it feels more like a proper city. Though at the same time it also feels empty since a lot of areas have nothing to interact or collect, just for viewing.
MC skins showing in (most) cutscenes is neat. She looks a bit less out of place in the region with a qipao.

Yesn't. You can colour any skin, not just the gacha skins but you can't colour the base versions but so far only the gacha skins have alternate hairstyles that you can colour. And yes, they are that retarded.
Their entire colouring system is dogshit. Half the colours for hair are "premium" meaning you can only get them from the gacha shop.
Colours being single consumables are fundamentally trash as well and the fact you can't colour accessories is really fucking stupid too. Main reason why I haven't been buying accessories.
Retards think they can force the same accessory on you with FOMO if they sell different colour variants but all it accomplishes is that I become uninterested in customization.

Fina I6/Truffle I5 and Fushu I5. For the summit you want Fina since she's on element. Dreamweaver's Feather and Halcyon Gracefall as high smelt as you can on Fina and Fushu respectively. Wanewraith S5 and Fledgling's Gleam S2+ for Su Yi. If you're using Truffle then S5 Arclight Apocalypse.

If you're 64 you should get pretty close just from dailies and getting the latest secret letter shop characters and weapons max level. If you're bellow then try to unlock characters first then weapons. Don't forget about gold wedges. If you made a lot of weekly chases by now you should be able to craft one of each prime.

Yuming introns could still be okay-ish if you do a lot of exploration Rhythm farming. It might make her one-shot or kill things slightly faster.
Su Yi team is looking like Fushu + Truffle/Fina. Apparently the calcs say Truffle is better than Fina by <1%. For Summit, Fina does have more personal dps but Summit also provides PEN% which slightly devalues her buff.
I don't think Kezhou as a sub-dps can really fit with Su Yi since she needs Fushu on the team. Probably better off running Kezhou as a main w/ 2 supps.
Are the shop chars/weapons still not enough for you to reach TR65 yet? Keep in mind next rotation we're getting Camilla + weapon in theatre and Phantasio + 2 more weapons to shop. So there's still quite a lot of trial exp coming in before Summit.

As the others said the Su Yi team will be Fushu + either Fina or Truffle. The main reason Truffle is a contender is that the "support" wingspo for Lumino gives crit chance and Su Yi doesn't need that since skill damage can't crit and her ultimate attacks deal skill damage.
Kezhou is a worthless meme. If you care about minmaxing the Summit then get Halcyon Gracefall (Fushu's weapon) to s5. I'm assuming you already have i6 Fushu, if not, obviously work on that as well.
Yuming is still worth to get to i6 for Exploration and Defense farming but obviously not a crazy high priority.

I'm TL64 right now with about 30000/90000 so 1/3 of the way in.
I'd be shocked if the existing weapons and characters wouldn't get me to 65 if I actually put in the effort but doing the mediation farming stage makes me want to stick a fork in an electric socket. And all the weapons I don't have unlocked or leveled seem kind of garbage (or use weekly boss entries which I have needed until now)

I'm the one asking the question and I can see an argument for the skill intensity since Lumino chronically lacks it due to shit wedges and Skill DMG is a final multiplier so if your stats are shit, the multiplier is worthless but I've no idea.
Fushu already gives Skill DMG boosts, both personally and Halcyon Gracefall and then you have the generic damage boost from Truffle's skill so it might be better to go for the raw skill intensity.

Ever since they changed Skill DMG into Skill Intensity and Skill Damage into Skill DMG some things are unclear if they're working as intended or some modifiers are just named wrong. Boarhat.gg still says Skill DMG for its damage formula. I don't see an up to date one. Most seem to use the two terms interchangeably.
Discord says you can use a maxed Scorch over her signature wedge but that thing gives skill intensity which makes it very confusing why you would use more attack up over something the element lacks. The only boarhat.gg build posted uses 2x Nirvana Volition.
I don't think anyone knows anything.

Yeah, this was what I feared when I couldn't find a channel that affected hair color in the dye menu. A genuinely baffling decision that only serves to further disincentivize me from using any of the rainbow hourglasses I've stockpiled since launch, though the real killer for my motivation in that regard was the new "upgrade system" for Su Yi's skin; I'm hoping against hope that Pan was just trialing it with this one and that it doesn't become a mainstay of the gacha skins from this point onward.
Of course, I know better than to expect them to drop it for future skins; chinadevs are gonna do what chinadevs always do, after all

Not exactly a cliffhanger since it happens in the earlier part of the v1.3 story. It wasn't explained though so it is open to theorizing about potential future plot points. I first thought it might be an effect of the hypnosis but the voice was very robotic sounding. Vita also did not have the same symptom.
Now that I think about it, they didn't set anything up for the next Vita story. I guess we're going in blind for the next part. Hopefully we play as Mors for at least 2 story parts next.

Bro, they managed to fuck up mobile control configs they just launched this update, the intention was to give a toggle so jump+slide+slide attack are their own buttons. The configuration resets when you switch ANY map.
Another fuck up was maze, their new floor reward png overlay lags the game to open world levels. Sometimes getting two rewards from a single blue floor choice.
And i'm still livid they haven't fixed chase phase completion being a png overlay that blocks ANY input not previously held.

They will keep reinventing the UI overlay till the death of the game, that apparently is where all their efforts can go.

Internally the selection starts at 1 instead of 0 so in-game it's your wave selection+1. The behavior is intended to be "how many times do you want to continue," while almost every single other game's implementation would be "what wave do you want to go to" since it's more intuitive.

this game has always been good

I still actively enjoy playing this game. I didn't geniemon hunt for months and the new ones being added made me do a couple of loops. I have so many lunocoins now from AFKing defense that I can afford to blow an upgraded treat on every passive genie just to fish for new traits. It was incredibly relaxing to just run around familiar locales and have Boxie point me to mons, or grab Silverite and sewer mushrooms. I played as Sybile the entire time because it doesn't matter, and used funny guns like the gatling gun with obscenely jacked up attack speed to have a literal laser of bullets and dozens of numbers on screen at a time.
The new story was solid. I liked Zhiliu more with the context and the drawings of her child form were cute.
I'm having fun. Extremely excited for Camilla. I'm holding onto weapon recasting moulds to bump her weapon up if it's any good, since she's the character I've wanted since 1.0.

We didn't have any official info about her until the v1.3 livestream, where they also showed her character page with only the dps + skill dmg tags. While she was never officially mentioned as a consonance user, datamines did suggest she was planned to be one during development.
Attached an image of her earlier datamined skill description. Note how the ult description says the melee weapon and ranged weapons are being replaced and the name is of a weapon. This description matches the descriptions for consonance weapon users. Compared to the live version where it says the attacks are being replaced and names a skill, which matches more with Phantasio.
There was also another part of her kit that said:

Yeah they excluded a couple characters for this skin for some reason. I could understand Hellfire and Yale but idk why a few others were also left out.
I guess if they don't want to adjust things to fit every single character, it's better to only give options for the ones that it looks "right" on. Though hopefully they either figure out a better system or make sure that certain characters won't get left out every time.

Were the Bi'ans explained further in some piece of text? I've read through the MSQ and side stories and my understanding is that Bi'ans are former charons that were going to deteriorate. (on their own) A benefit of the Nine Chapters is that it has to power to turn deteriators into Bi'an that serve Taihao/Zhuyin instead of a rampaging filthoid.
I'm not sure if you've gone through the v1.3 story yet, one of the sections should make that part more clear if you haven't already.
It's been months since I did this guy's side story so I might've forgotten something, but I don't think they literally mean that someone came to take their child away and forcefully turned them into a Bi'an. They would be showing a lot more negativity towards the Nine Chapters or society if their sons were specifically selected. That would also be a pretty dystopian aspect that should be a major part of the story or side quest, not just a random family's mini-story.
