There are weapons that stand upright on the side of the pawn like Mono Weapons Pack's Glaive or Miho's Nodachi, how do you actually do that? on windows, if I dont have the source code, I use DNSpy+ to decompile it as a VSCode 2022 build source files package and then open it in VSCode and update the .csproj after editing any relevant .cs files.
However with decompilation there will be decompilation artifacts so just ask Gemini or Claude to clean those up first (annoying task).
if you have the source code available its very easy to recompile then.
For packages just get .NET 4.8, it works the best (.net 4.7.2 is okay too)

you lose the "silver boom" you'd get with the normal difficulty. the random events can really be crippling. and enemy attacks come often and are really strong. by far the most money i make is selling prisoners.
I went mining city into research city and started getting militia revolts before i got a single research result.

expansioninst seems like the best trait, and although slaver is good on lower difficulties, the high worker cost makes it fall off later. i went with technocratic; even though it will fall off in the end game, being able to convert scavanged artifacts and weapons into research points makes a difference in the beginning. the other one i might consider is militaristic, because then if you get hit by two bad raids on a short interval you can just force march for silver instead of waiting for the cooldown.

Unfortunately, manual defenses are busted, if you manually defend a colony, it's you and your 100 allied pawns with mortars and turrets all against maybe 10 raiders, it's just a free win.

Facial Animation Retexture updated it looks like.
Now several pawn eyes are looking up in an attempt to "unify the looks a bit more" between its lids and UNAGI's lids since you couldn't really mix and match between the two.
Kek. I'm taking this offline and fixing it myself. My autism commands me. I'm just going to lower it midway.

The problem I was running into is that the ratkin face options are not restricted to ratkin xenos for me. They appear on anyone and would be completely fucked because they can't mix with unagi pieces.
I still try to change them if rats don't have rat faces or baseliners have rat faces, but they won't look ugly if they mixed now.

What, like you want the textures? It wasn't actually all that much work. Maybe an hour of effort. The east/west eyes are now like Unagi's to fit, and they've been upscaled.
I've never seen the >< ratface, I don't know how it's triggered, but they're still in the modfolder. I put these in both the biotech ratkin and hyacinth ratkin FA folders, but biotechratkin asks to load after and overrides them.
I've also been slowly making quick and dirty additional bodysize ratkin apparel, or making some of the still 'legged' versions fit the nugget bodies like SA0 better.
