What do you mean broken? I played it and it works fine.

He means it doesn't feel the same as when he played Halo 3 after middle-school

the co-op input delay is crazy, halo 2 is completely different graphically, so many things in the reach campaign are lit improperly and even untextured.

It's not broken it plays just as good as the originals. I think it's one of the best retro game collections

They don't know what the fuck they're doing. To address the hit reg issues they just increased aim assist. This made the game worse for people who experienced issues and easier for people who did not. If aim assist was handled server side then it would have actually made a positive impact, but it's client side. Client side aim assist means the player cannot even compensate for the desync by leading the shot or aiming center mass. The client side aim assist will always make a bad decision if there's desync. An obvious fix would be to slow the servers down to the refresh rate that they were originally designed for. But then they'd have to implement lots of interpolation which costs time and money.

Gaylo is peer to peer game. It means whoever is hosting the map gets immense advantage.
Most of the time when I still played this game I needed to join overseas lobbies from Yurop to East Coast and let's say that none of my bullets ever hit anyone. It was incredibly frustrating to play.
They are not able to change anything unless they do some fundamental changes and besides, this game's support ended up ages ago already.
I don't understand why people are still crying about this anyway.
It's dead, play something else then.

>Gaylo is peer to peer game. It means whoever is hosting the map gets immense advantage.
I remember when Halo 2 came out when I was in 10th grade, there was an infamous "hack" where the host player of a matchmaking server could place their modem on standby and freeze the session for everyone allowing them to complete the round flawlessly. That took around few months to patch. And then by summer you already had people with modded xbox's flooding the game and outright breaking matchmaking by spawning opposing teams in the air to instant kill with battlerifles.
So for anyone to claiming of "Noooo Halo is heckin broken!!" like my nigger it ALWAYS was janky back in the day. Only difference is that you're far older now and tolerate far less bullshit.

>halo 2 is completely different graphically,
Halo 2 in MCC is based off the PC port in 2007, which utilizes uncompressed textures. I booted up my old Xbox when testing my old games about two years ago. I will say right now that I don't think I'll ever go back to the non-AA jaggy textures of Halo 2 on the Xbox.

I wish it was peer to peer. Unfortunately it has dogshit dedicated servers now. I used to play halo on the 360 in england with virgin media internet and the only time i had problems was when my sister was downloading horse porn.

The game is fine

The MCC is simply worse than the original games, to play gaylo on the MCC is to have an inferior experience. Halo Reachs credit system being replaced with the battle pass shit should make this glaringly obvious
MCC also doesn't have the unique main menus the originals had

it doesnt need to be functional in order to sell

Don't care, at least I can play campaigns and now also mods on PC of Halo games that were only on shitty consoles before.
