Normally I'm not really a confirmation bias guy, but something similar happened to me with the mots infestation last month.
I found a list on r*ddit that was really just designed to fuck over this "play nothing til t4" gameplay loop, cosmo, gambit, moon knight, you name it.
Played a couple games with it, encountered mots once in the very first match, and never again. Naturally, the deck is useless against pretty much anything else.
Makes me wonder if a card/list goes above a certain winrate threshhold against the current shiny toy, does it just get automatically blacklisted from getting matched up against it? That would be such an SD thing to do.

You will get the deck you're countering eventually, but then it's just 1cube since they retreat and you fall back into default 50/50% winrate.
It's why I stick to my bingbong wahoo that I get fun out of. I never use tech.

You might find this interesting. So far there's been multiple collectors vaults that have unironically LEGIT been rigged to have certain cards. Now personally I'm open into believing any company is willing to rigged matchmaking (especially SD who have shown to be spiteful) but this alone says a lot of what they would do.

Godlike rng from real players, cheating bots, then humiliating pitty bots to get me back up.
Then I face shit like this which is impossible to tell whatever the fuck it is and I miss out on snapping and the 2 cubes is not enough to get me out.

I'm starting to think that they changed the matchmaking to benefit those who buy new cards, p2w season, hence all the new ways of getting new cards, even discounts on packs.
But if you are full series complete, you are fucked. Jeetcoding at its best.

Not only are you put on a list to deny you from ranking up until enough time of the season has passed, but also limited to ranking up just a few ranks a day when you have available missions. So if you run out of missions, you're in a limbo of going up and down 1-2 ranks until new missions appear.

The problem with going "all-in" on rocks is that there are 2 payoffs (Patriot, Ozymandias) and if you don't hit at least one of them then the other rocks cards are mediocre and while yes, it is highly likely you find at least one of them, there's always the chance they're both on the bottom and your deck is just worse when it could have been running a good card like Juggernaut instead of drawing Mole Man on 6

As far as raw power is concerned I'd figure he could roll high with something like Blob, Black Panther, Jubilee into an Odin. Then on second trigger Black Panther again, Brood, and Arnim Zola? If you get all the rolls well you'd be getting upwards of 70 something power on each other location and 140 on his. You'd need either a big power deck or Arishem to feed him the one time and still have the Odin left. Though I'm not sure if he can roll the same on reveal on an Odin / Wong's second trigger.

Sauron has always been a favorite and Nightmare added some new life to it. Been experimenting with a few new cards lately, only recently got Galactus First Steps, and I think I found a mix I like. Ezekiel was initially supposed to just be a temporary swap with Electro to finish some move quests but he actually scales pretty well in the deck.

Nobody tell SD, but season caches are bugged. I got credits from one and then it didn't use it up, and I got to open it again for more credits.
Then another one gave me gold, but the same thing happened and I opened it again and got a variant and got to keep the gold too

I told SD immediately
