Has anyone managed to get the Fresh Meat achievement over 9000 killstreak? This fucking game doesn't spawn enough enemy for this shit. Can kill everything instantly but they don't give you enough to kill. Then there is the lag that fucks up the streak timer.

Why does diablo 4 get boring so quickly? There is no endgame still after all of these years. After you max glyphs and get the gear you need there is nothing to use it on. The only thing left is chasing quad greater affixes. The game still feels a mile wide but an inch deep.

Sometimes I think the only real fix is just to add in raids like wow/ffxiv. Either that or structured challenge maps, sort of like l4d/vermintide. But idk, could be in the minority here.

if they really want people to play the game more often than 1 wk/season, they should add in weeklies/dailies with some kind of lucrative reward. that's proven to keep people signing in at least once a week/every couple days. do X thing once/week to get a guaranteed spark or something. do X thing once/day to get extra heap of obducite.
also, if they added in a clan base like the den but accessible to all clannies, people could drop gear into a box for anyone to grab from, then people would maybe consider making another class or build from whatever extra thingies they find in there = play for longer. add some kind of resource thing into the clan den that is interactable: one clan member has to click a garden plot once a day, and then everyone can claim a bunch of herbs for potions or whatnot.

I simply treated this "season" as something I do on the side when I'm bored. Very little to do, Butcher mechanic is ok but not good enough to stand on its own as a seasonal system (something to bring as a mini-event imho).

Diablo Immortal gets the same skins/theme events as Diablo 4 except Diablo Immortal gets them for free because IT makes Blizzard money unlike Diablo 4. Blizzard is an American company and American companies only care about short term profits not long term. Yes Diablo 4 MIGHT of sold a decent amount of expansions but they care WAY MORE about how many skins sell between those expansions and when seasons launch broken HALF the time and shit the other HALF people aren't going to show up and or stick around to buy skins. I know Anon, I know I've been there when it happened sadly. Fact of the matter is those two fat cunts where supposedly ONLY dungeon designers. Not that it absolves them. On the contrary, they should fucking now how basic mechanics work to properly design levels, which shows they know fuck all about it.
Thing is you have dudes like that Colin or Zaven who seem to know what they are talking about. Former more than the latter imho, but still. Yet very little comes out of that. D4 went through so many iterations that only now it may be looking better and it's only due to making it closer to D3. Which wouldn't be a bad thing if the foundations were at least solid (toughness being removed then added again for instance). Maybe it's the case of too many cooks in the kitchen. I don't really know...

can someone describe this class using other d2, d3, and base d4 classes as comparisons

I only played Fire Warlock and only reached mid-50, but the gameplay was sort of like Necro where you find a big group, you place circles on the ground, run looking for more as the circles proceed to turn them to ashes. Despite having 10k+ hours of Diablo retarded dedication, I cannot really explain its playstyle compared to other classes because I'm fixated on D2's slow movement compared to D3's sanic fast or D4's pseudo sanic fast.

I have been asking about details and it only says it will run for a season and games treat seasons differently.
Sometimes it is 3 months, sometimes a couple of weeks.
Let's say I get the game at the end of the month, do I miss out? DIV was already on my radar but I wanted to see how it panned out.

All l I wanted was to make a Pally, give it the Doom cosmetics and play Lord of Hatred but Blizzard is unclear about all of this. Like how much would it be in total and how long I have to get the items.
I would not be surprised if it was $200, and I could *sigh fork that over but I hate doing so and missing on the Doom stuff, which is what happened one time with another game and a different crossover, and the game in question was bad (Fall Guys).

Generally those collabs last for the duration of a season (so about a month or few weeks) and they're gone after.

The current season and by extension DOOM event w/ skins end on April 27th. If you get the game after that then yeah you will miss out. The thing is, there's also some cosmetic transmogs for weapons to grind for that let you complete the set. Unless you care only for the armor stuff which is a paid cosmetic anyway you could, in theory get the game on 27th or sometime before and just grab those bundles from the store. Otherwise it'd be better to get it sooner so that you can get the most out of this Event.

At the end of the day it's your money bro. And your decision!

not that guy but I got the base game on steam sale a few months back and I enjoyed it. once your build comes online, it's pretty fast and brainless to farm the DOOM currency needed to purchase the free cosmetics. the current patch adds some fun mechanics like killstreaks letting you meathook groups of enemies together

I got the base on Bnet before launch but I if I knew back then they'd release it on Steam I would've waited to get it there. It's just a more reliable platform imho. You can still play with people who have it on console and/or Bnet of course so it's not like it's locking you out of anything.

If I had to bet money the biggest thing we will get outta the expansion is them re-working all the unique items that got bricked with the first expansion launch. The expansion is likely a whole load of nothing. The same old dungeons, infernal hordes, helltides but War Plans which boils down to even more drops. The drops are already shit in the game. Who cares if we get 2x the amount of shit. They haven't revealed any new endgame activities to make the gear even useful. Same old pit grinding different expansion. If they had something truly exciting they would sing songs about it for weeks leading up to the launch. They wont even show us the new skill trees because I bet it just lazy increased damage numbers.

No my man, we can't just brush aside the fact he makes other classes null and void.
