really good neons can be hard to fight but theyre few and far between (especially in the shitter lobbies where redditors most definitely are). really the only issue with her atm is that sentinels are in the gutter, whyen ordinarily theyre the ones who can limit her impact on your team
id also add that pretty much any neon, even the most skilled ones, are piss easy to hit if youve ever played much of any longer ttk game, especially a movement focused one like apex. and so long as you know to keep your distance from her. retards will sit in a cramped corridor, hear her coming, do nothing except hardscope a tight peek angle and then do the shocked pikachu face when she judges them point blank

I stopped giving a shit because the gunplay is complete ass and the devs have done nothing but reinforce everyone just buying vandals for 1 tap headshots with 0 counterplay or variation for other weapons because spread is insanely RNG.

you have to stop beliveing that you decide the outcome of a match, it's a false narrative. In some games, you may have some impact, but 90% of times the game is decided even before you enter the lobby. Whatever happens, your wr will tend to <50%, not because of how you play, but because some faggots at riot brainwashing division decided that that state of things will keep you most engaged.

>Low elos won't be able to tell her difference and will be funny to see them still cry lol
why is neon specifically SUCH a shitter filter? imo iso is far more obnoxious in terms of "breaking the tenets of the game" or whatever (to be clear i still dont mind him, you just have to play a bit differently/be conscious of him) but i dont even really see what it is about neon that trips people up. you have to be extra conscious of space and positioning, but thats something you should be doing anyway, and if she full sends her util youre probably fucked, but thats true of pretty much any duelist

So exactly was she doesn't gain speed when jumping and her fuel doesn't fully regenerate with a kill onlyon ult, the passive refill stays. They said they unironically rushed the nerfs because mfs were crying so much, that's the level of faggotry the average Valorant player possess

There's plenty of videos out there, just look for valorant nvidia bug, if I'm not wrong it didn't only affect Neon's wall, they are just using her as a perfect distraction so people don't focus too much on the bug

this, its a retarded nerf. doesnt change the slide all the redditors were crying about (because they dont realise she lost the accuracy on it three nerfs ago) but instead lowers the ceiling to punish a much smaller, more skilled pool of neon players

saw some clips and jesus genuinely just remove her, you made a cool char that breaks the rules of slow movement in cs that wasn't even strong before the shotgun meta
apparently just holding W is now faster than bhop? lol

People keep using "THIS IS A TAC SHOOTER" as an excuse against giving space against someone who takes it or tracking before committing to a shot. Neon is obnoxious to shoot, and honestly her slide is the most egregious part of her kit, but good Neon play *is* hard earned through high mechanical mastery and successfully playing mindgames at high speed. I get why they had to nerf her, but I'm salty that they broke her fucking knees to do it.

>good Neon play *is* hard earned through high mechanical mastery and successfully playing mindgames at high speed
i think its weird how she gets singled out on this basis when, like you say, she actually requires skill to master. iso, meanwhile, has a "press for first shot invulnerability" button, which "breaks the rules" to the same degree but can be done by anyone
i think both are fine, its a hero shooter, there should be characters who break the rules. i just dont understand why neon catches all the hate and iso gets next to none

I agree. Whatever argument there is for Valorant's "CS-like" integrity is already compromised by the fact that it's a silly hero shooter where Brim molly and Jett smoke have lineups but Brim smokes are literally set'n'forget and Iso has Mordekaiser's ult from League. Neon obviously needed the nerf bat because of her 85% pickrate, but they're justifying it by saying that giving a character fun movement (which can be countered by gluing her to the floor with sentinels) is simply against the spirit of the game.

Iso shield is great in theory but in practice most guns firing speeds are too fast for it to realistically make much difference. They just shoot you again, and the second bullet always seems to be a headshot despite being on recoil cooldown.
Or maybe I've just been playing against lots of cheaters lately.

realistically Iso shield is great against Op at hard sightlines or in his ult, and it's definitely his #1 tool to win out trades. As far as taking space, his other abilities are probably way more important. The shield+orbs are basically best thought of as a way to extend tempo and advantage in a longer firefight than they are lifesavers

depends on distance. its relatively redundant close up but at mid to long range where just holding fire on a vandal/phantom would induce not-insignificant bloom past the first shot, its enough to count for a decent advantage in a lot of situations
