hi guys I'm a little rubbish and new at video game I play bomber I don't really know what to do besides get team level 5 at start and then run at enemy base over and over but I get worst points and don't achieve much when I match versus real players instead of bots is there any tips you guys have for someone new? I enjoy this game a lot but feel guilty for being dead weight

bombers main goal is to clear a path for the attacker and then hang around outside of the enemy base while the attacker is inside of it to maintain pressure.
So if your attacker isn't in the enemy base, you should be making sure the blocks inside their base gets cleared and getting it near triggering rush. You should also be clearing out multiple paths into the base to get the blocker and shooter to split.
You want to hang out outside of the base to stay healthy, as you can take multiple shooter shots while the shooter needs both of their cooldown to kill the attacker, blockers generally cannot kill attackers so anytime the shooter is focused on you, the attacker should be killing them.
Also by hanging around outside of the base, you are preventing your opponent from triggering rush as your high burst damage can kill the enemy base quickly if they let you in the base while rush is active. This is especially true for Kuro, Grey, Dark and Shiron.
Shiro, Platina, and Shiroe are much stronger at clearing a massive amount of blocks in comparison.
Shiori is only played by morally bad people so do not fall into the mentally ill trap of picking her.

I forgot to add, HP management is really important for bomber as you generally will have to pay a tax (50 HP) to force your way into the opponent's base, so if your health bar is flashing, you should be looking for ways to kill yourself at a good time or teleporting back home for healing, your healthbar flashing means you are at 50 or below health and you cannot pay the tax. (wait around until your attacker gets to the enemy base and then quickly off yourself).
You definitely want to be near full health around the 30-40 second mark, so you can do a final push and use your burst damage. This is actually one of the most important things in higher level because generally bases aren't destroyed and it's more about managing rush time and squeezing out the final damage so you with on time out.

Do you have all the gacha skills unlocked for your favorite bomber? Another thing worth mentioning is that most of them have some sort of bomb throw/displacement skill that helps with getting inside the base, instead of having to spend 1/4 of your health bar just to get past the gate.

The really, really important part, and I cannot stress this enough, the bomber should be clearing blocks around the enemy's base so the bomber and the attacker can freely rotate around both base entrances when needed. You don't want to bunch up and attempt to enter the same base entrance choke with the two of you at the same time as much as possible.

They run banners with rateups on characters, skins + characters or classwide (i.e. bomber only, blocker only etc). Depending on what you want to roll, it's better to wait for the character you want to be on rateup than the class banner since there's less chance of getting spooked by another character you don't want/a dupe. The fewer characters on the rateup, the better your odds after all.
Also, when new characters are added, rolls cost half tickets, where the last new character was Ohagi in Feb. Of course, there will be other characters on rateup besides the new character.

yeah, that sounds terrible and i wouldn't wanna wish it on anybody. the ticket events don't look as horribly grindy as on PC but 650 tickets is still 65 games in the absolute worst case(though who loses bot games, right?)
I also wouldn't want someone to push my account too far on the arcade in fear of it affecting matchmaking on pc and me ending up getting matched against people way above my league lmao.
I'll just hope that if there is an event with a nice outfit i want it will eventually come to konaste. Though i guess that has a big backlog of events to get through first.

if you are both just single filing down and being shot down by the shooter, you are both a problem, having extra points because you destroyed the tower is meaningless, you win by destroying the base.

Sometimes a bomber or an attacker will get a bunch of points for clearing the map or destroying the tower + it's doors but if they didn't touch the base then yeah...
Same applies for the defense as blockers could have tons of points for using their block skills but if all these blocks actually were the cause of the loss then it meant nothing(like filling the whole base with blocks). And there's also the fact that some characters just won't get a good amount of points ever like Grim Aloe or Brass.

Not always, but it’s a bit more subtle than it seems at first glance, since the scoring is arbitrary and sometimes a victory depends on just a single moment or very small differences in damage.
Using the example you’re giving, it’s noticeable that the attacker had a tough game.
The Shooter and Blocker performed at an average level but struggled somewhat, as they died 3 times (above average) and killed 8 opponents (average).
Despite seeing the stats, it’s impossible to tell if there was a rush that inflated the scores for certain classes, such as the Blocker and Bomber. Or maybe the game was going terribly and someone had to turn it around.

Olive is pretty straightforward, but you might want to notice that her flamethrower's hitbox starts 1 tile away from her so you have to stand outside the base in order to maximize your coverage, but even then there are blind spots (the tiles not at least 50% covered) experienced players can hide in, so you better pray your blocker isn't braindead/dead and will chase them into the fire or help attack them.

I don't know what the issue is, it's not like you stick out for playing it, it's really popular. The cabs were constantly taken with people waiting to rotate during the April fools event.
Plus it's also a lot cheaper to play compared to other games because you can get free games for getting more than 40k points.

yeah personally I just use clumsy and select udp ipv4 against port 5291 and it works fine

you have to go into the game settings and make it use a specific port (which you block). the default port you should see there is 5291, but the option to use that port is grey by default so i think it randomizes the port it uses

yeah, ok. that works. If i set this to whatever port i have configured in bombergirl i get NAT F.
Meanwhile in my router i have to block 3478 specifically to force NAT F no matter what I configure in bombergirl.
But i have to forward 5291 (or whatever else i configure in bombergirl) to get NAT A.
This is dumb as shit i have no clue what is going on with this game/PC/Router lmao. weird rabbit hole to go down into in the middle of the night.
