Hi /vmg/,

Is it possible to install out of date apps on a newer android device? I'm going on holiday and want to be able to play some BOZ while I'm away. How do I get around this? Any help is much appreciated.

Not unless you're about to install a custom rom on your phone, which has gotten increasingly impossible. There's still some ways if you look up custom rom/OS', but otherwise Android is going to lock you out of installing it. Phone customization is unfortunately dying quickly, but it's still possible I believe if it isn't a phone released in the last year

You can edit the target sdk with an apk editor like apk tool. It should let you install the app but the app itself might not work
