Getting purple gear drops from elite mobs somehow tickles the RNG for both rolling and gear enhancing. The first time I tried it was on Durin's banner and I got Jahoda and Mona with 20 rolls. Still have the guaranteed. Only works once per drop and on Fontaine to Nod-Krai regions (Wild Hunt ones don't work since they come in packs).

I used to find an exquisite or precious chest for whichever character I was pulling to open with mixed results. During Natlan I would beat up whichever world boss the character required and then pulled; won every 50/50 except for Citlali doing that until Nod Krai. Haven't figured out one that'd work now, maybe making desserts or something?

She's not the best choice for damage but the comfort of a shield when playing a NAer is wonderful.

There's a bunch in the free gacha, if you keep rolling your weekly rocks you eventually get one.
They also did an event where they gave a single 10 roll for the paid gacha, which meant a guaranteed 4 or 5 from there.
