Everything changed starting from 2.14.

From the high expectations and excitement of Version 3.1 (Phase 1) to the total numbness of 3.2—it’s incredible how much has happened in just one patch. It makes me wonder: the "drama" of a single version here truly rivals an entire nation’s worth in the "neighboring game" (Genshin's Sumeru). Since 2.14, I’ve slowly lost my passion for Kuro. I went through shock, anger, and madness, only to end up in silence, unable to muster interest in anything.

If 2.14 was just a wound, then the appearance of Luuk was like rubbing salt into it. I originally had no prejudice against male characters; in the 3.1 story, I just saw him as a regular "bro," no different from the Captain or "Calcharo." But once 3.2 started, everything shifted.

"Big Syringe" (Luuk) keeps interacting with female characters and constantly dropping romantic hints.

The community is filled with nothing but fighting and "gagging" (censorship). Any dissenting voice is suppressed. I’ve gradually started to loathe—even feel repulsed by—this character; it’s the first time I couldn't help but use his derogatory nickname. Perhaps the biggest difference between him and "Scaramouche" (Genshin) is that the latter wasn't so blunt and open about forcing a "CP" (Couple/Ship).

I’m honestly exhausted. Work is tiring enough; I shouldn’t have to deal with being silenced and watching depressing drama when I come home to play. I have zero interest left in the stories for Denia or Hiyuki. The only thing I’m still looking forward to is Yangyang—the true "White Moonlight" (pure first love) for us veteran players since launch. Maybe after pulling Yangyang, if there are no more characters I like, I’ll truly quit.

If it comes to that, I’ll say a proper goodbye. When playing a game becomes physically and mentally draining, that’s probably the time to leave.

I want to give a different perspective on how the Sigrika situation is going and why I think it's actually going to be better for the target audience. This game is now almost 2 years old, and it has grown a lot since the first anniversary. Kuro, as a game dev, saw this and started wondering about the audience now. By releasing Sigrika, with everything completely opposite of what they have been doing, they want to see how big the "new audience" is.

She's paired with a male character, Qiuyuan.
She interacts with a male character, Luuk.
She interacts with a girl, Denia.
She's strong in the meta.
She's a very typical character from the certain neighboring devs, where there is a lot of potential for yuri/couple shippers in general.

But from the recent revenue, they probably know how big this new audience is. So I think we'll be eating good next patch.
Edit : people keep saying about her being slotted between 2 highly anticipated character, she's NOT, the fact that she's the only new character in 3.2, shows that kuro dedicated this patch to her, otherwise they would have released Lucilla on the 2nd part where it's her story, **she is between Luuk, not a highly anticipated character, and Zani Phoebe, Lynea, all rerun characters, not Aemeath and Hiyuki/Denia**

Companies view gacha as a genre and rotationslop as gameplay, but things would be much more fun if characters were seen as genres instead, so you'd release a character capable of looting and shooting, another capable of RPG mechanics, another capable of racing and shooting, etc
You could go even further than add a buff of dunno, +400% final DMG if the player decides to use only one character instead of a full party, so that people who are tired of rotationslop could feel comfy
