roblox support is actually very helpful if you're lucky. email them something like "My child's account got hacked, the previous email was blah blah blah, please restore this email." after that, reset the password, go through settings and remove any information you dont recognize, including a random phone number and unrecognized apps in app permissions.

If the account has an email associated with it you can select the "forgot account password" link on the login page ( https://www.roblox.com/Login ) and then it'll ask you to type the Username of the account you've lost/want to recover then they'll ask for your email/phone number and will send you a 6 digit code and after typing the code you'll get to reset the account's password. (even if the account does not have an email/phone number associated with it atleast still try that method)

it takes a while to get a response.
