I replaced the Old & Busted (Slapsticks) with the New Hotness (Bargain) in Omens and there's a visible improvement, especially in the continuation stages. I just cleared Cradle before the Fallen Bear even showed up.

What's your loadout and clear time? Been using pic related but it takes several minutes to clear stage 20 so it makes farming it a giant pain in the ass.

I don't measure how long it took. But I guess after doing stages 18-20 I had 14 minutes left until another clear became available. Also I don't farm.
Also I guess I could replace the Phonoses with something else since they're getting tounged by Johnny, but I can't be bothered.

I've seen some bitching about lack of content this week (mostly in Siluman's comment section, once he finally posted the leaks), like some downtime to focus on existing stages is a bad thing. I already finished Omens, and spent most of Wednesday focusing on my 3-crown UL clears, as well as my first-time ZL. Finally got Socatres, and I even finally unlocked Filibuster talents.
And with the Half XP event that just started I got most of my remaining Ubers up to lvl.40, now only Lugas remain. And since the sale will be up until end of next week, I will have a lot of time to level them up as well.

One made me cry for most of 2025 while the other consistently makes me angry just from looking at it (for reference, every time I see Dark where Black is supposed to be, I call it a fucking mistake out of reflex every single time).
It especially fuels my rage knowing that in BCJP, they use the kanji 黒 where Dark is in EN, and that specific character means BLACK, not DARK, which is 暗い. People saying bullshit like "Dark is a cooler trait name than Black" aggravates me all the more because of how out of place this name change is for me.
If they don't patch back the original name of that trait in June, I'm gonna go download 417198 and 435259 immediately after I get the update. It honestly feels significantly more grating than "Let's continue being friends, Mizuki." with the severity and extent of this bullshit, and that single line was even fixed up!

None of these mean anything until we see numbers. The only one that we can probably pass judgement on is explosion because it means more uptime on her slow but only if the proc chance is guaranteed. Sage Slayer might be okay for Oldstritch too I guess when combined with explosion slows? It'll help keep him at bay.

After Phantom Bluebird I had to check if at any time further on there's more than one spawning on a map. Thankfully that's not the case - yet.

Having myself recently evolved the final unit requiring Epic Stones, I don't need to do it anymore, but for anyone who still needs to do it: if it's not time sensitive, try using Super Wednesday's half-off on all stages to get three Stones for mere 1500 Energy. There's one coming up in July, and then nothing for over a year, it would be a shame to let it go to waste.

RIP. I mean, it's not all bad, move speed makes it so she doesn't feel like complete ass to use and the increase in range let's her attack some backliners more safely but that's about it. A 5% buff to savage blow chance means nothing, hp increase combined with the extra levels is kinda nice but doesn't really mean anything to a backliner who shouldn't be getting hit in the first place, and sage slayer actually means nothing because her explosion chance is only 50% which means her crowd control is inconsistent as fuck.

Also a good unit. Massive dmg against zombies with zombie killer is great even if dmg is kinda low. Good slow uptime and good immunities.

What the other guy said; still a bad CC unit. Sage slayer doesn't really add anything to her kit either. Might be OK as a generic backliner though? A 15% chance to do bahamutesque damage isn't the worst thing in the world with her new range and decent attack rate. Would rather use Vigler or Bomburr though.

New typing is new typing, will make sniping Tackeys and Le'noir/grim easier and just widen her usage in general. Berserker confuses the everloving hell out of me though. If you can get it to proc and then push the enemies back far enough so that Saki can attack again then you probably didn't need to use her in the first place. And explosion immunity just looks like futureproofing for content we don't have yet unless you REALLY hate Bunaglios.

I guess this is Ponos's scapegoat when people accuse them of playing favorites with banners? The buff to slow duration isn't enough for their slow attack rate/unguaranteed proc, it should've gone up to something like 6.5~ seconds. Speed up is kind of nice actually but is ultimately a bandaid fix. Freeze res is not immunity. And doesn't do enough damage for Soulstrike to be worth it but maybe it can be used to help kill tankier corpses with other units that have the skill? Evanz' wide attack range isn't bad for the skill. And stat talents are stat talents. Evanz can make use of the HP one pretty well though.

As a stat stick, his stat ones are absolutely worth it and are effectively mandatory. Curse immunity is nice and is almost mandatory since angels and relics are a common pairing. Toxic immunity is a nice bonus to use against shit like zollow or gobble. Surge res is kinda iffy but I've found it a nice bonus and it's more useful than you'd think because of how tanky jizo is; he actually has the hp to tank through death surges without proccing his survive.

I think I've been doing pretty well keeping my complains about 3-crown UL to myself, but man, Sticky Showers (https://battlecats.miraheze.org/wiki/Sticky_Shower) is some bullshit.
And the one time I managed to defeat the initial GreGory with Cannon and Green Shell (after whittling his health down to the last knockback) so I could wait and farm some money to counter the absolute bullshit that spawns, two Erasers were enough to trigger the boss wave while I still had nowhere near enough money.

Well I would certainly assume so. My intent was to compare easy to get units that virtually everyone has by mid-game and that are commonly used in guides. You make an interesting comparison though, really shows how broken UF Jizo is.

Yes, good point. Manic Legs does fall off late-game due to not having talents or + levels. Of course, it does take a while to get talents and more than a couple + levels. I'm halfway through Cosmos 3 and only have a few + levels and no talents on my Cyborg and Cameraman.

I went ahead and used the last Superfest we've had (in February) to try and see what the future might have in store in me. If the "add future ubers" feature on godfat works like it's supposed to, then with three more Ubers (Raclesa, Fuma and Dark Lunos), I've got Dunos at 360 pulls away and Staal at 560. As a matter of fact, except for like +3 on Ebisu there's nothing worth pulling for in the next 100 spaces.
I hope I've missed an Uber that'll be part of the banner, because with four new ones released since February I'd at least get some Fest +1s on my track.

It cost some Catamins and some Treasure Radars, but I managed to level up all my remaining Ubers to level 40 before the Half XP thing ended, and even got whichever units I use a lot that weren't at lvl.50 up there as well.
Now I just need about 3000 more Uber Catseyes to get all of them to 50 (well, less than 3000 since I can use Legend ones as well), which might take a while. Maybe it's time to finally start looking into using all those Dark Catseyes I've been hoarding.

Depends on your luck and on whether you've been neglecting your rarely-used units or not. With high enough levels you can brute force most stages up to about 30 (obviously not the gimmick ones) even if RNG screws you over. Also you can devolve all your shitty Egg units back into eggs for a better chance of rolling a cheap meatshield.
First time I cleared LQ it cost me somewhere like 120 crowns, it got cheaper with stronger units so sometimes I manage to stay in double digits. Good luck.
