I DON'T WANT MEGANIUM TO BE GOOD. IT WAS ALWAYS MEANT TO BE BOTTOM OF ZU. IT WAS ALWAYS SUPPOSED TO BE THE WORST STARTER
THIS ISN'T FUCKING FAIR

I've played with Mega Meganium, I think it's mediocre in singles but an excellent rain mon in doubles.
A full power Solar Beam and fire Weather Ball in the rain is an incredible niche. All it needs is a little speed control courtesy of Pelipper.

Smogon formats have only been losing players, while official have been gaining. The more fanfic meta does retarded shit like banning sleep as a mechanic, the more people will move to how Gamefreak intends comp play to be.

Keep in mind that this is just Gen 9 OU vs Gen 6 OU in 2014. Today has way more metagames than in 2014

Nice cherry picking of the month where they did a total ladder reset midway through to prepare for ORAS. Meanwhile, in reality:
>half a year after ID

>half a year after ORAS
https://www.smogon.com/stats/2015-06/ou-0.txt
Meanwhile, randomly selected lategame ORAS ladder (no SV meta has hit these numbers):

Smogon is falling off.
