Houndour being postgame is cool and good actually. Having a couple gen 2 mons exclusive to Kanto helps solidify the gen 2 roster as "new discoveries" rather than just being native to a different region.
I actually think moving Misdreavus to Cliff Cave was a mistake. I can get behind the Safari Zone though, since it's like a nature reserve sort of deal.
