Was there a proper way to market this console? Nowadays it's the most beloved console of its generation, more people in the retro community are interested in old Saturn games over N64 and PS1 games and the library speaks for itself. It'd be easy to sell the Saturn to modern day weebs and gamers but how was Sega supposed to market it to children from the 90s who thought Mario was the coolest thing ever?

I had a Saturn as a kid and I liked it quite a bit.

Fine I admit it. I've spent years on this board defending the Saturn but I'm tired of living a lie. I stupidly asked my dad to buy me a Saturn over a PS1 or N64. I told myself Nights was better than Mario 64. I told myself Virtua Fighter was better than Tekken. But I was just trying to make myself feel better.

it was okay. nights and bug! sucked ass. the 3 pack w/ virtua fighter/cop and daytona was good. mr. bones was a god tier kusoge. most everything else i played was also on playstation. if i had to do it all over again id probably just skip it and buy more playstation games. i dont remember how much i paid for a saturn but it was pretty cheap and came with that 3 pack as well as nights and also a sampler disc.
