Looks like a guy you’d catch an STI from.

Comix and Sonic 2 are masterpieces, spinball was pretty good and not remotely as bad as the retards who didn't get past toxic cave want you to believe, the rest i've never played.

Kid Chameleon would be probably be better remembered if it had a save system. The game was great but way too long to finish in a single sitting unless you're a speedrun tier autist, which didn't even exist back then.

I'd just tell my parents that I wanted to leave the Sega on, and leave it paused overnight
it's not like it prevented them from watching TV or anything

it's an hour and 40 long with 100 stages

If I had tried that they would have complained about the electricity use even though the electric bills were like $60 for an average family back then. Boomer parents were the most nitpicky faggots imaginable.

Dick Tracy = pretty cool little 'Rolling Thunder' like shooter. Has that beet mechanic of being able to shoot into the background pain. Decent licensed game.
Kid Chameleon = Maybe one of the more interesting platformers for the system. Gameplay wise, it is pretty unique.
Sonic The Hedgehog 2 = Still developed by a lot of Sonic Team staffers with support by STi. Great sequel.
Sonic Spinball = nice graphics/ tiles, interesting board designs. Game runs at 30fps and has questionable collision detection. Mixed bag.
Comic Zone = original concept. So original that Sega basically patented the idea and never used it again on a sequel or a subsequent game. But at least it prevented any Comix Zone clones from being made for quite a while. But that patent did expire. Great visuals, and soundtrack.
The Ooze = Interesting and original concept. Choppy gameplay. Cool idea, but a mixed bag in execution.

Overall, STi was loaded in original ideas. But were hit and miss when it came to technical execution. They did make some memorable Genesis games.

Comix Zone was a cut above the rest and could have been an all time classic of that period but was ruined by the difficulty. Many such cases.

That's if you already know the game. Technically Solomon's Key could be beaten in under an hour, but how much time does it take to learn every level? Assuming you're not some savestate scrub.

I love Dick tracy so much, one of the best gallery shooters ever made. Hard as nails tho. You gotta play it with an arcade stick, I genuinely feel like it was made for it. So much easier to aim with

most of the work the Americans did on Sonic 2 was thrown out. if you're counting Sonic 2, you might as well count Die Hard Arcade too.

Why did they make Sonic Spinball instead of trying to make a platformer or anything else that would be more fun than a janky pinball game?

You got filtered, fag.

with just this showing they're probably one of the best western devs of the era.
