Tried SMTV Vengeance yesterday and I couldn't stomach it. The formula was perfected with Nocturne and they just keep retreading the same ground in inferior installments.

To answer the OP question: Ishtar in SMT V is hot as fuck and she has the best battle theme of any game. One of the best designs, but I know there are others I like I just can't think of any right off the top of my head, so my answer is her.

V is not only extremely gay but also tame as fuck. The protag is a goody two shoes twink who only gets relatively edgy when his suit boyfriend dies.
Getting to kill Flyn, take over the universe and giving the middle finger to the will of the universe is extremely based.
Also the world of IV is inherently more interesting than Vs boring ass world.
At least Nocturne has lots of atmosphere and can look esoteric at times.
V is post apocalyptic but with no personality to the world whatsoever.

I don't care if she's Persona only, she's still my favorite. For actual SMT, maybe Cybele. I mostly just use them for meta/convenience purposes though. Kaguya is the only one that I definitely like more than the other ones to the point I'd use her even if she wasn't busted.
