Thals play Grimoire. It's the filthy sapes you need to worry about.

His cameo in JA2 is pretty comical, especially because it was pure seethe by the devs.

You should see his personality stats in the JA2 character editor.

Went through my v1.13 install and found the character editor.

I was subbed to his youtube channel, until he started spamming AI videos. In retrospect it's not suprising that someone like him, would love AI.

>You're not some 'thal, right?
Why would he say that, if he considers himself a Neanderthal?

I like that developers and fans were once part of the same social circle and would make jokes about each other like this. Corporate Culture completely destroyed this.

Dunno seems pretty accurate to me.

Just having one hated nationality seems a bit small in scope.
>>
>>3954952
SirTech was Canadian.
>>
>>3954953
I more so meant that it seems like just having the systems in place for one hated nationality is a bit limiting. If I'd make someone based on myself, other than putting a one in every attribute, would need at least ten hated nationalities.
I figured that either Madlab or Sir-Tech were leafs.
>>
>>3954953
Wrong, SirTech Canada made JA2 and Wizardry 8. SirTech itself was a US company.
>>
>>3954516
I bought his game and never played.
I just wanted to support this schizo buffoon.
Because... thanks to him I experienced the best forum thread in internet. The Sir-Tech thread.
I jumped in just when the Stones of Arnhem drama was developing. Man... it was peak internet. Truly.
Eh...

PS: His ancient flamepost about Ian Miles Cheong ugly mug is also legendary. Internet can be a small place sometimes.

So is Grimwah actually good or not?
>>
>>3955948
Yes.
>>
>>3955948
If we're polite towards the game, maybe the guy will make based posts on /vrpg/ too, that would be epic
>>
>>3954516
Unironically used to be my idol "growing up" (I started posting on RPG Codex in my late teens in 2005)

I paid the full price for Grimoire - the original full price, before the base price dropped by 90%

You know how some people are latent schizos, but only start manifesting after they hit the bong?
I strongly suspect that, in his case, it was the stress of working on that doomed project. The bloody idiots at DirectSoft didn't even have programmers on the team until a full year had passed since dev start. All they had was an actor and his filmmaker buddy, probably as concept and level designers.

>You know how some people are latent schizos, but only start manifesting after they hit the bong?
Iirc this is only correlation because latent schizophrenia only starts developing in the late teens / early 20s, which is around the time most people who use drugs start using
>t. watched this happened to a friends little brother

It was released? I stopped to pay attention when there was 319 microissues to fix and the 'thal was busy with shilling for Russia on vault-co.
>>
>>3957768
Kek I had no idea he was a staunch zigger as well but it goes hand in hand with his overall insanity
>>

t. nafo tranny
>>
>>3958369
He wasn't a zigger. He got high on Russian and Chinese propaganda fueled by an understandable contempt for Obama. A trap for contrarians. A lot of people fell for it at the time. A lot of people were surprised when February 2022 turned into an unbelievable shit show.
In the end he deleted all content from the vault-co in 2018 with a vague comment about something or somebody making him feel threatened.
Come on, it's not like the guy cares about his public image. He's been maintaining it since 1997 and he was very consistent. It was also not the first time when he purged vault-co. But it was the first time when vault-co got purged and remained dead ever since. It was strange.

I will simply never play a blobber. Ever. Sorry!

I respect Cleve for keeping his madness out of Grimoire and instead crafting a well-written fantasy world with a classic feel.

sinking like 9 hours into it, and not being a fan of wizardry, might and faggot, and its gay grind-eee chink clones. its okay. very mid, the best aspects of it are aspects that deviate from those shitty games - multiple starting locations, the removal and the minimal usage of random battles if you desire, the gay and arbitrary key hunts and secret walls replaced with puzzles based around logical word matching or etc. on the other hand, its just as aesthetically disgusting as the rest of these classic WRPGs, if not even more so. and the middling combat is attack attack attack, or using your preselected most powerful attacks and abilities in the same pattern to kill mobs that will give you some sort of challenge - just stretched over 100 hours or so.

so its gay and mid and not much to discuss about the game besides faggy internet drama from some geriatric aspie

Fun for a while but incredibly repetitive and far too long. Put like 60 hours in and I was barely over the halfway mark from what I could gather online. Felt like almost every battle could be won using the same strategy, and exploring every dungeon amounted to casting the find illusion spell (or whatever it was called) and inspecting every single same looking wall.

it's gone on sale multiple times since release.
