In games where you can fully create your entire party, do you have any preference for the gender ratio of the team?
I almost always try to have an equal balance of male and female party members, and also balance for melee and casters. So in 4 person game I'll have a male and female melee and a male and female caster for example. But when I ask my friends, they almost always do all male or all female parties. What bout you anon?

I don't care about gender ratio when I create a party from scratch. I just use whatever has the best voice packs / portraits for each class.
This is in direct opposition to my mindset when forming a party from premade characters, where I stack my group with as many girls as possible.

4 girls. Or 3 girls and 1 big guy (not the lead).
None are self inserts. I cannot treat a character as a self insert unless they are a fat guy, so no chads or women. And since no party based game has ever let you make a fat guy, not even Arcanum's half ogres, it has never happened.

you only really need one mele guy. if the party is 4 i go with mele, healer, and two mages. i dont care if classes are repeated. as for gender its all female always.
