Apparently starslop is updating to allow free travel between planets, adding more space encounters, and some other quality of life fixes in space
Has anyone played it yet? Is this going to make the game worth reinstalling?

I wanted to give it another chance. But then I remembered the laziness of having one of the introductory characters have 2 different voices in person and in some lore data logs. Really speaks to the standards of the creative team at Bethesda

If you liked the base game, then you'll probably enjoy the new content a lot. The cruise mode is okay if you're into the whole space trucker thing for immersion, as you'll spend 1-5 extra minutes going from planet to planet within a star system and might bump into some extra dogfights or other POIs. But I really like the addition of x-tech. Being able to boost the tier of equipment is a really nice credit sink, and x-tech is really easy to get a ton of if you also buy the DLC (the robots drop it pretty often). I've had a lot of fun just grinding out my gear to Superior tier. The new DLC story is really short though, and has almost zero story in favor of mostly fighting. So if you just want more random content to do and grind, then the game has it in spades now, but there's no new epic storyline or anything.

Who are you talking about? I feel like I've never noticed this.

Heller or Keller? The guy with your boss at the beginning. Apparently it's the same person but circumstances lead to 2 different performances or takes. Which still lends credence to Bethesda being lazy shitters.
