It's definitely overhyped, but that can't be faulted by the game. I'd probably also be one of those obnoxious fanboys if I played it today, it's a game that only emotionally resonates with you if you have a particular love for your family. It's very clear they want you to see Claus and Lucas' mother as your own.
>>3988935 Yeah only if you don't like the Americana setting. Otherwise it's the only JRPG with that setting. Maybe only Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass is the closest thing to M3. >>3988950 I don't think it's overhyped by the virtue of being the only JRPG that evoke that sense of atmosphere.
>>3989146 I mostly think it's overhyped by its own marketing, what with all the "don't cry until the end" stuff. It's a great game with both a great tragedy surrounding the main characters, and a fitting conclusion to Porky's story for people who were still invested with Mother 2's cliffhanger.
A person who had actually reviewed Mother 3 and had critically analyzed the game, went into a juxtafag thread and basically validated almost everything he ever said about it, and the entire thread a meltdown trying say otherwise, but failed lmao.
I don't understand how juxtafag hate M3 so much. The fanbase isn't even annoying, heck there is barely even fans who hype this as the best thing ever made. Is it just schizophrenia?
>>3989226 >The fanbase isn't even annoying You don't interact with them, they fucking suck >loads of trannies piling in from the UT/DR fanbase >schizos projecting on the main party despite them being the most characterized protagonists in the series >M64 niggers swearing up and down that their failed Animal Crossing game was so much deeper and longer and packed with content based on a pile of still images and blurbs it is miserable
>>3988935 Yeah, it probably is difficult for illiterate baby-diddlers to get into. By the way, you're supposed to be 18 or older to be here. You know we can all tell you're underage because you can't capitalize or punctuate properly? That's a thing. It's an entire thing. And everyone instantly knows what you are because of it.
