kek I didn't at all. My goal that playthrough was creating a mountain fortress kingdom in Afghanistan (I'm the Nageidari). The ai empire fell apart almost immediately after I made this thread because its leader died. That being said, there's been a powerful indian empire consistently throughout this whole game.

I can't even decide if CK2 was overall a better game anymore. Just for shits and giggles I went back in played it and honestly there's way more stuff I like about CK2 in a systems perspective but CK3 really does just have a certain charm to it, I also really like the little things they added like Knights and some of the more tasteful dumbing downs they did. Both are great games, I just wish CK3 had a more stable multiplayer, it's sad that my friends and I can't get through an hour of playing without desynch issues even 5 years after buying it. I just don't know anymore bros, time to play some EK2

When India first came out in CK2, the case for it was that making Persia playable can't be done accurately without having it trade with India or something, so that was forgiven. Except they later made China an off-map thing you can interact with, at which point you had to wonder why India couldn't have gotten the same treatment. They had a chance to correct this in CK3 by making the map like launch CK2's except full of off-map powers to interact with, except they folded to the demands of retarded larpers who wanted to settle Normans in India or whatever. Now we have what is basically a sequel to Sengoku trojan horse'd into CK3, enjoy!

Ethiopia is actually a great area to play the game. its not just tribal pagans, theres lots of Feudal Christians and even a Jewish duke. there are pagan religions you can reform easily nearby as well
