Matsushita is narratively strong in a different way because you play as someone who's always been outcompeted and looked down upon coming into the limelight and overcoming all his problems to become the grand ruler of Guangdong, or he falters at the last step and slides away into insignificance

And Hitachi is all about building up a horrific exploitative slave state while the happy few live in total luxury, slowly ripping away hope untill the country explodes in an unholy fury

All four are best. Go play them all.
