Cancelled HotA project: Mecha Dragon. He was supposed to be a neutral creature in the Factory taken over by Kastore.
In addition to continuing Frederick's story, HotA is considering releasing a revamped AB campaign, in which Inferno will be replaced by Forge.
Work on Forge won't seriously begin until after the release of the Bulwark campaign. The Bulwark campaign won't be released in the upcoming months, unfortunately, we'll have to wait a little longer.

Where did this come from? It wasn't in any of the interviews I read.

>In The Tree Killer, part of the Horn of the Abyss campaign All In, a rumour states: "It is said that on the surface of Nighon, far to the east, there live the people of the desert. Among them are catfolk, whom no one has ever seen yet." This may imply that the Bastion could have greater relevance in Horn of the Abyss' future plans, but nothing is yet to be confirmed. NTG's leader Raistlin has since joined the HotA crew and recently wrote on the WoG forums that the "ice has broken", though no further details were revealed. This implies that the Bastion will emerge, one way or another.
After Forge, we'll get a desert city, bringing the total to 14 cities. That's almost twice as much as at the premiere. Great times for Heroes 3 fans.

Maybe they could add some kind of abstract tournament terrain. Something not associated with any faction.

The rune mechanics is really cool. Some people say the town screen is ugly, but in my opinion, it has the same artstyle as Inferno, meaning monotonous in terms of color.

And what else besides goats?
Kobolds - creatures from mythology and Dungeons & Dragons
Snow Elves - creatures from Vori lore
Yeti - the first thing that comes to mind when you think of snow
Shamans - wild mages, and their dwelling is the circle of druids from H2
Mammoths - just like yetis, they are associated with snow
Jotunns - like elves, creatures from Vori lore
This is a very good set, very well designed. My only problem is with the design of the Jotunn Warlords, because their shield and axe look a bit over-the-top for Heroes 3. Goats are cool because they highlight the town's wild and barbaric nature - something for the Yeti, the Mammoth, and the Jotunn to eat, something for the Shaman to offer as a sacrifice, and something for the Kobold to pull the cart in the mine. That makes sense.

>Kobolds
h5 peasants, not the worst offenders
>Snow Elves
yet another elven shooter and i doubt that's how vori elves were supposed to be portrayed according to the lore
>Yeti
it's okay
>Shamans
really? couldn't they get even more generic?
>Mammoths
yet another normal animal unit but at least they're extinct this time
>Jotunns
they look like regular dudes too much and not like max level units
also they have never been present in the might and magic lore
this should be the one faction that you can disable, not the forge

>h5 peasants, not the worst offenders
Their ability is practically useless, but the same goes for the Pikemen's ability to block charges
>i doubt that's how vori elves were supposed to be portrayed according to the lore
I think that they may have been an advanced civilization in the past, but they became savage over time.
I don't know what NWC's plans were, but HotA recently received their design documents from Fulton and signed an NDA agreeing to not disclose them.
>really? couldn't they get even more generic?
All H3 unit designs are generic and simple.
>they look like regular dudes too much and not like max level units
Angels are also just ordinary people who wear white rags
>also they have never been present in the might and magic lore
There were Vori Giants, but that name is already taken by Tower. It’s better to call them Jotunns than Snow Giants.

I really enjoy playing as Bulwark, you can mix and match the units in different ways. They fit a lot better than Cove where half the roster are different types of humans. Compare them to the original factions like Fortress which has only two humanoid creatures.
Also fantastic town theme

People who are afraid of the word “nigger” are usually fucking assholes themselves who are just pretending to be nice. The more politically correct and rainbow-loving he is, the bigger a son of a bitch he is. That's the words of wisdom
