i dont actually remember i made these years ago, i just kinda got some images i had saved and did an image search for others and just messed around in gimp till i got something interesting looking
im planning on doing some more at some point with stuff from other ips but il probably do more lains too cos i always end up coming back to lain for glitchy looking edits
if you want i could try making you something from some pics and il try to explain what i did
i dont rly have much of a method tho i just experiment till i start liking how it looks i never have much of a plan for what the end result is gonna look like

If by glitchy compression effect you mean the dithering, that's easily done in photoshop/gimp by changing the color-mode to "indexed" and choosing/generating a palette :)
