>>6154587 I'm going to guess it's because its human nature to focus on status, sex, socialization, and sustinence. Can't have status or socialization without other humans and sex isn't appropriate for tiktok or instagram or wherever these are posted. Gotta do the needfuls to stay alive, and elaborating on how you're going to shit and sleep in depth would be weird/boring. That's my guess, anyway.

Also... >Since I only have one friend... >I hope this friend of mine >Let's hope I get paired with him. >I hope this person I love gets dragged into this life or death situation with me. >>6147967 How was this made? I mean, I see the AI thing but I don't get it. I made some CYOAs (minor things) over on /tg/ so this would be fun to play around with.
These are such slop, but I can't help but keep coming back to them. Like those retarded riddle compilations on Bright Side back in the day.
The 2 door ones are usually the worst, it's usually just "door one says evil kill danger fuck but is actually a frutiger aero pony meadow, door two says safe inside peace but is actually the rusty nail dimension with... a entity... o.0"
Really hard to find any more good ones, two main problems that make most of them utter dogshit: 1. The "coin flip" problem, AKA there's one good door that goes to Happy Hello Kitty Fun Safe Land and one that goes to Absolute Hyperdeath Niggerhell, and there's no tradeoff whatsoever that makes you weigh whether you got a good choice or not. Either you won the coinflip and chose the objectively better door or you lost it and chose the one where you die. There's nothing remotely CYOA about that and frankly nothing even slightly interesting about it either. These make up the majority of search results when I try looking. Even the less polarized ones still suffer from 2 being too low of a number for an already light-on-options type of CYOA, three is the minimum unless the options are really interesting, but they never are because 2. Most of these lazy fucking retards let AI write the scenarios too and they're utter shit. Sometimes it uses descriptors nonsensically like saying a dimension is "low-resolution" without elaboration (which isn't even reflected in the AI visuals either). Sometimes it contradicts itself by saying a zone is safe and empty only to end its description with "if you hear footsteps, keep moving and don't look back or the romanian entity will steal your kidney". Generally, even the WAY it describes things sucks, like being descriptive with useless fluff like how your flashlight beam bounces off of some severed wire hanging from the top of a factory roof, but glossing over bits of the location/monsters that contribute more to the vibe and would make more sense to save the descriptiveness for. Lots of really GPT-sounding prose in some of them too, you can imagine exactly how it's formatted in your head just by listening.
>>6157620 I don't get why people don't at least tell the AI writing anything to do shit like avoid purple prose and either tone own or just don't use em dashes.
>>6157620 All good points. These would be a thousand times better than shitty 'choices matter' videogames if they used the starter format from >>6147968 or >>6148579 with 3-4 options and had the choices from the bad options in >>6152852 in every path but with varying degrees of difficulty and without any of the ai slop telltales or stupid random reasoning.
>>6147967 Where can I find these? I can't seem to find any of higher quality to watch except for the ones I've been grabbing from 4chan periodically. There are videos of people playing them and some lower quality ones like >>6157620 mentioned, but no higher quality ones.
>>6160861 I got 4chanX, it's got the same feature. My point is... if you're going to mass reply (and don't, it's shit in principle) at least say something interesting.
>>6157620 I consider myself to be mildly creative, have made a few image-based mini CYOAs and enjoy this sort of thing. Would it be possible to make some of these myself?
>>6166164 >2 Just kill the chimp? I mean they're hardy fuckers and strong, but you have prep time and tools. Humans never had many problems taking out great apes, even the stronger ones like gorillas, with spears. There's plenty of metal and other material for a lethal spear all over that place, and there's two of you.
