wtf happened?
>>
>>6156629
For some reason the board is moving faster than usual and no one posted before it died, with less than 21 hours from the last post. It usually takes more than 2 days for threads to die. That said, I'm busier this time around and didn't notice the thread dying

did yt-dlp or youtube change anything or why did it automatically create this errape version?
tried it again with some other video and its also extremely loud
wtf happened and what command do I need?
>>
>>6161083
Did yt-dlp say anything about falling back to a lower quality version due to failing a JS challenge or something?
>>
>>6161084
no the only warning is this

WARNING: [youtube] No supported JavaScript runtime could be found. Only deno is enabled by default; to use another runtime add --js-runtimes RUNTIME[:PATH] to your command/config. YouTube extraction without a JS runtime has been deprecated, and some formats may be missing. See https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/wiki/EJS for details on installing one

I also didnt use any variables because I didnt have to last time and it worked but I guess something changed
what variables do you use?
>>
>>6161091
Yeah bro you gotta enable a JS solver per the link provided in the error message. Namely you gotta install deno or some other JS runtime and have it available in your path.

I also use the POT token provider since I kept getting banned. Still requires a JS runtime though.

maybe its the upload because its one of these "automated" channels? can you try the link and see if your eardrums burst?
>>

The log looks normal. What exactly are you experiencing? A higher quality when listening on the browser and it's not the same when you download it or what?
>>
>>6161098
its extremely loud when I download it see >>6157108
and heres the source which sounds normal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgEvn3l1Hr0
its also not the converter because the yt-dlp file without any variables has the same sound issue
>>
>>6161100
Hmm it is weird. I downloaded using "-x --audio-format opus" which doesn't post-process anything and the peaks are really high. I suppose the browser is playing back a different version than the opus.
