You could try the whole gekiga genre, like lone wolf and cub, but again, if the entire thing you want is actual “depth” and think it’s the only thing that makes a story good, then you are looking at the wrong genre bro. Not only you will be missing the point of manga as a whole, but the entire adventure and battle shonen genre too.
