I distinctly remember one time where everything went blank for 1 second or so. It's like de-gaussing an old monitor. Felt like my entire sense of being just dropped connection, before resuming. Unrelated, or maybe, but I've had dreams of plane crashes since I was a little kid. Before I even got on a jet. But my most vivid memory came when I passed out while the doc was drawing blood. I was instantly in the cockpit of a crashing passenger aircraft, nose down, smoke everywhere. The vividness of that scene will always stick with me.

Yeah, that’ll do it.
Did for me at least. She just had a baby, here.
Right between the eyes.
old post, reality shifting thread guys were asking about the method, I’ve been busy tho, and some things didn’t make sense like being neet for 2 years between 2 jobs, working them each a year, but knowing when you moved to that town and lengths and dates of another job after it, so there should be 4 years of work and neeting, but if I also neeted a year after I moved here, so there’s like, from 2015 through 2018 (4 years) there is 7 years of life I had during that time ??? And that’s not even including the school I went to and then neeted a year, so like 8 years mashed into 4 years. And backrooms was definitely a thing in 2015 or before that, last time I looked up slenderman his fate was wrong too, and now they’re saying 2009…..
Bro shits all off

I have a weird story.
When I was younger, like very early teens, maybe even earlier, I can't remember, I went to the beach with my friends family.
On this beach, there were these ascending stone blocks. I remembered it as being a really big 'stop ship', but basically it was these stone blocks that formed a sort of staircase that ultimately lead to nothing, but the last one was quite high up. I'd say the drop (just from memory) was the size of a regular house.
Btw before I continue with this story, I've just tried googling for this structure I'm talking about at the beach we went to, there's nothing showing up, but I don't really know what to search because my description of whatever the fuck this structure was is vague as fuck, but I wanted a damn picture to post with this story, but oh well. Maybe they were to measure the tide, I don't know.
Anyway. Me and my friends ascended these stone blocks and were at the highest one. Tide is quite far out still btw so there was no thought of water being any issue or anything like that.
We look down from this pillar we're on and we're just surrounded by sand.
Now I'm young and retarded then, so I say something along the lines of "dare me to jump down"? And they say yes and I'm thinking it won't be too bad, because for some reason I assumed sand would just cushion the drop completely.
So I look over again, then hang off the side and drop.
Fuck, this is a first for me, I'm actually getting anxious typing this. Wow that's spooky.
When I dropped, I did not land with a thud into a pile of sand, as I and the others suspected.
No, I fell right through into...water/sinking sand, I don't fucking know, it was liquid though. And when I say I sunk into it, I mean immediately and complete submersion. I sunk down for like 4-5 seconds, hit the bottom, then I guess propelled myself off the ground with enough momentum to resurface.
What I'm trying to get at here is this was fairly fucking deep.
Continue next post.

Now bros, here's the thing. This was deep like I said, like purely on estimate I'd say this was deep enough to be at least 3 of me stacked onto each other at the time and I dunno if it was regular water or what (but the sea was far out, don't forget this, the tide was a long distance out) or if it was some variant of sinking sand but on the surface it just looked like sand which is why I dropped down in the first place, we all thought that.
And you wanna know why this is so terrifying? I couldn't swim. No, fuck that, I STILL don't even think I can swim even now, certainly not then. And yet despite emerging from this shit, I couldn't see much because sand is clinging to my entire face but somehow someway I manage to swim in the right direction back and get out of it.
When I got out of this, I was crying loudly and hysterically, I was covered from head to toe in sticky sand all over.
Explain to me how anything in this entire situation makes any sense. There's so much wrong with it.
1. Why did the surface look like sand to ALL of us?
2. Why was it not solid ground when the ocean was really far out?
3. If it was sinking sand, how the fuck did I hit the bottom then get pushed to the surface?
4. How did I orient myself in the right direction when I'm in a complete panicked state and my vision was compromised by the sand that was covering it? Out of every direction I had to swim, I somehow chose the correct one.
5. How did I swim at all? I can't swim. Even now. I mean I haven't tried anytime recently but I never really learned how to so I assume I still can't.
6. Did I die then?
7. Why can't i find that structure I'm talking about on google? Maybe I'm just shit at describing it and it does still exist or maybe I died and in this reality I'm in it doesn't exist?
8. Why does just thinking about that moment fills me with the coldest dread? Is it PTSD?
Sometimes I do ponder on that moment and really think I died then. Whole thing was so strange, like a glitch.

Cowboy Dan’s a major player in the cowboy scene.
When the tide is far out like that it leaves quicksand like stuff behind because the water level is actually equal to the sand. You’re lucky you didn’t get lost under there, or absolutely eviscerated from broken seashells.
Chinese proverb: man who dig for clams at low tide learn patience; man who dig at high tide learn to swim.

You learn to swim, real fast, or sink.

Whole thing is fuzzy and surreal for me to remember, like a hazy dream.
I really don't know how the fuck I managed to live through it.

I have an acquaintance that did speleology in his youth. He drowned in the caves. Yet when he went back on consciousness, he was out of the water.
It wasn't your time. You weren't ready. You didn't accept your own death. Yes you should have died. But your consciousness didn't accept it.
>3. If it was sinking sand, how the fuck did I hit the bottom then get pushed to the surface?
You literally levitated.
