Thread #42251099
Since the 1980s, although it has become more common since the 2000s, many Masonic writers have written characters representing the Antichrist as natural enemies of characters representing Lucifer. What is the reason/meaning for this? Does anyone have any ideas?

The Antichrist is satanic, and Lucifer means light bringer. Two opposite ends of the spectrum.

This anon gets it. Lucifer is focused on spiritual growth, and Ahriman on material development, Jesus is the middle ground
OP really should read Steiner before posting on these subjects and they would understand these better. Before people say the devil is Lucifer they would make the devil a false light bringer aka a false Lucifer. It’s why jesuits will call Jesus the Lucifer or the light bringer which is an over simplification as well because Jesus like Buddha was the middle path(give unto Caesar and give unto god what belongs to each)
Dr Robert Gilbert explains the Zoroastrianism, Steiner, Blavatsky, esoteric point of view on this which is much more intelligent and predates the Jewish oversimplification
