>>259667 Thirties is the prime years for skateboarding. Face it children, useless wooden toy is an old man's game. If you don't cope by doing slappies and complain that your knees hurt all the time you don't belong.
>>259667 That guy mogged those NY hipster faggots. Imagine being 30 and fighting home owners so you can tail drop 50-50 their 6 stair rail.. not even pop into it
I know a guy fighting the norwood who is also too big of an andy anderson fan, so he wears the helmet, and his tanned face untanned head is grim. he needs to just ride without the helmet.
And there's all these memes about riding smaller boards, in an old video Dan Corrigan's girlfriend was mocking him for skating 8.25 while she skates 8.5. Such cookie cutter conformity from skaters of all people.
Look at this for example. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsqfN7gA9Zw If this kid was on Kyro's 7.75 he would've had it, not like on his board where the only way he can flip it is if his foot is on the very edge.
>>259730 30 dollars to teach a lil nigga how to skate is absurd maybe if you're teaching grown adults, but i wouldnt charge more than 20 for kids. 15 if you live in bumfuck, nowhere.
>>259738 >Such cookie cutter conformity from skaters of all people as if every skater in the early 00s wasn't also conforming to tiny wheels and tiny boards. Wide boards and bigger wheels are simply better. I haven't rode anything smaller than 8.25 since I was a teenager.
>>259752 I'm not gonna watch that but is that guy getting paid or dies he just hang out with kids like that, kinda weird but I guess kids need something to watch too
>>259728 i like them too but feel dumb for getting baited into clicking on girl skater thumbnail >>259735 that's what makes it relatable. this is the kind of shit that makes me want to skate
Started to skate again after stopping it for 6 months.
I used to land FS Kickflips and BS Kickflips easily.
Now, my brain can’t compute doing them. It’s not fear of falling or whatever, my brain suddenly stops whenever I think about doing them and my limbs freeze instantly. I was able to land a few of them over an obstacle, but it keeps happening as soon as I try doing them on the flat. I already lost heelflips like that for no fucking reason.
I’m 33, maybe my brain is getting old… WTF is happening ?!
really enjoyed a youtube video called "Beaver Fleming - Changing the Game" it was one of my favorite skateboarding videos. too bad it's been taken down.
>>259881 he did some of the most insane tricks. i don't know why so many good skateboarding videos get taken down. it ended with kick flip fingerflip catch fingerflip. guy's a legend.
>>259859 The yips are a sudden and unexplained loss of ability to execute certain skills in experienced performers such as athletes. Symptoms of the yips are losing fine motor skills and psychological issues that impact the muscle memory and decision-making, leaving them unable to perform basic skills.
>>259939 >hiett Not a fan of his image or whatever, but he's just a damaged kid from the midwest who didn't fit in and is pretty pure of heart. Like the old-school skating style
>>260024 My boards always die getting chipped hard on the tail, but they last me a lot, they chip when they get lost and stomp very fast on corners. Never snapped a deck, even I'm 9x kg. I'm also wondering about the pop of these boards. To be honest powperalta seems to be the only corpo doing all kind of board shapes and "wasting" money on engeniering, also a I consum a lot of their media on yt, somewhat they deserve support even from my hobbo ass.
>>260002 >that fucking shopped thumbnail I thought 'oh, maybe bam has actually lost some weight and is looking a bit healthier now' >literally the first opening seconds of the video nope, still looks like a sack of shit that's been set on fire and stamped out multiple times.
>>260087 I have all kinds of mental problems and hard drugs make me function normal or as a superhuman depending on what I'm taking. But I haven't done drugs in a while (haven't stayed in a while)
>>260089 I get a injection that cost the taxpayers 3500 each month it's ridiculous
I suspect boomer grosso thought the perc was real, shame, I should have died a long time ago I have no viens left and done more than 200 drugs I should write a book about it
>>260090 >cost the taxpayers 3500 big pharma man, what a fucking scam. glad you have access thoughever. >I should write a book about it just greentext on 4chan, it pays the same
>>260174 I uaed to ride one, a Kevin Harris reissue. Was a good memory. I put griptape on the bottom as well, just under the tail and nose for caspers. They still make freestyle boards, either PP reissues or you can order one from one of them freestyle companies like Decomposed or Never Enough Skateshop
>>260191 No, just a freestyle pic. I could do 50-50s but handed, to fingerflip out. Haven't tried one in the longest time, now that I mention it.
>>260192 Well, what you gain in size you lose in concave, if you are talking about proper freestyle boards from the 80s. Try them, you won't waste your time.
ive been trying to find the words for it for awhile but ive got it now. mitchie bruscos skating looks weird to me because he skates like how youd think a gay guy (bottom) would skate
>>260290 Even if he is gay, he still mogs the shit out of you in every aspect of his life and especially his skating. You are probably watching all 300 of his 'How to ollie' tutorials, getting mad because he can skate well and you can't even manage to ollie in the grass, then coming to the 4th channel to vent like a gay little bitch.
For me, it's 411vm issue 40. The best 411vm. I even watch the intro with Lance and skate shop worker was so friendly in the way he sold me the video.
One time I asked for the latest 411vm and they gave me issue 40. I said, "Wow, I already own three!" and the nice friendly skate shop worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you issue 40!".
Now the staff greets me with "hey it's issue 40!" and ALWAYS give me a knowing smile. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local skate shop, I go there at least 3 times a week for the vibes and a large coffee with milk instead of cream (they sell coffee out front), 1-2 times for wax on the weekend, and maybe once in the arvo when I'm in a rush but want a great hang that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily skate talk needs!
I even watch all the ads, they're amazing! What a great time.
>>260324 I'm guessing you're underageb& because 2 months is fucking nothing. Just keep skating, keep practicing ollies and you'll get them. Practice them as much as possible.
>>260334 Cold turkey is the only way. I did it back in 2020 and haven't smoked since. I don't get a single craving. You really just have to accept that you will be a pissy, headachey mess for about 2 weeks. After the 2 week mark, it gets noticeably better and then it's pretty much smooth sailing from there. Just fucking do it, otherwise you will be forever cucking yourself with patches and vapes and chewing gum and all sorts of nasty cope shit, ultimately ending up in constant relapse cycles.
>>260357 Yeah, but Europe has all sorts of weird architecture that you rarely see in the states. Like you can tell a spot is in Europe just by looking at it. Compare the spots in Sour 3.3 to the spots in Quasi Hard Reset
>>260370 i liked it >fakesteeze.jpg i mean yeah a little bit but hes also doing weird fastplant crouch shit but the clips where theyre around that underpass skatepark with the pretty fun little rock and rolls and shit was kinda cool so while it might not be my thing still pretty good clips
>>260370 Half the video is shit you see kids at the skatepark doing before they can reliably flip their boards and the other half is them LARPing as the lovechild of Louie Barletta and Ritchie jackson.
>>260373 if he didn't do that weird crouch shit after landing it would have been the best part, matches his top knot tho. I think I decided I liked it, was entertaining.
>>260374 >>260377 You guys know that flip tricks came from freestyle, right? And that the first all-street trick was the boneless, right? And that the second street trick was the no-comply? You guys do know that.
>>260412 It's not more complex, just different. Ollie is mostly about learning pop technique, good form while jumping and the rhythm/timing of manipulating the board under your feet while in the air. It's a lot of very quick micro movements. Pop shoves are more about learning to get out of the way of the board, watching it rotate underneath you and spotting a landing, which helps more for learning flip tricks. I found ollies easier and more comfortable to learn and commit to. Shoves were scarier because they felt more unpredictable at first - you gotta be really confident in your scoop and trust that it's going to rotate properly so you can fully commit to the landing.
>>260383 im a fan of that type of skating and 87-91 are the prime years of skating for me, but heroin skateboards always been pretty cringe to me. 2013-2016 fancy lad era, og welcome, and all that stuff was always cooler
>>260420 Not sure why but every skatepark around the world has one (1) designated boneless guy, if two ever appear at the same time they morph together as one in a blinding light in the form of a Patrick Melcher clone, I saw it happen at San Clemente a few years ago.
>>260412 Because it lets you practice all the parts that make up an ollie in a way you can't with an ollie. It lets you practice the pop and footdrag separately without the landing, which is the scary thing slowing progress. You can practice pop shove its all day with no fear by just landing with one foot on them, then eventually you have the confidence to make the small hop onto them.
never watching a heroin vid never buying a heroin product dumbest name for a skate company in the history of skating but i'm not 12 so i'm probably not the intended demo
>>260538 Bunch of people locked in a house with challenges and eliminations, the last person remaining wins money. There's cameras and speakers everywhere so the audience can influence them.
>>260540 aye I can pop shove, frontside pop shove, kickflip, heelflip, varial kickflip, 360flip (rare), fakie frontside and backside 180, fakie bigspin. nollie. No grinds or slides :(
>>260538 It's like a low budget big brother (show) but with more glowing MK Ultra influence. They basically abuse a bunch of retarded autists in a house for zoomies entertainment.
>>260531 peter thiel is based. peter thiel would never fund a washed hack like sam hyde. hyde was trying to get in on thielbux for awhile but got rejected. Andrew ruse got the deal and got to produce an HBO show. but yea if you're a fan of sam hyde in 2026 you're a huge fucking loser. that shit is beyond not being cool anymore.
>>260586 I had a dream I was hanging out with sam Hyde and that other guy, and the whole time I was like these guys are fucking losers I gotta find a way to get out of here, it fuckin sucked
>>260632 If I had a skate company I'd give them a pro model right now. Wouldn't even do any promotional material around it. Quietly skating the board in these videos and putting a link in description would sell plenty. Channel is kinda blowing up, hope it doesn't stray from the pure zen skate+environment format
>>260432 i'm practicing pushing, gaining speed, etc. as well it's just boring to only work on one thing. i like to skate around, do tic tacs, hippie jumps, and also see if i can get closer to ollies. i'll try mixing in frontside powerslides tomorrow
how did our tranny fuck up her finger like that? shit is bruised like it was broken or something. Originally it looks like a basic cut or maybe something with her nails fucking up but that shot after its bruised like crazy wtf?
stylistically, IT is the most interesting skateboarding content creator to emerge in a bit. Look past the tranny shit, enjoy it for what it is. Or go back to whatever slop the usual brands feed you if you prefer, whatever. post something you think we should watch instead, butch
>>260689 >Channel is kinda blowing up, hope it doesn't stray from the pure zen skate+environment format You know the truth, nothing can remain pure in these current times, this channel is doomed. Once something reaches a wider audience, there will be copycat channels out the ass, creatively bankrupt vultures will be swooping in to shamelessly steal the style and format as much as possible, and souless companies will be falling over eachother to get the sponsorship gig. Look forward to a video in the near future where she talks at the camera, or overdubs an intro like >hey guys, so in this one i decided that i didn't want to skate the rail again, so blahlbahblah or worse, a mid video sponsored ad. Maybe the ad will be cleverly included as part of one of the quiet, lingering shots of scenery, like a shot of an industrial estate, except there will be a brand new pair of shill shoes placed strategically in frame somewhere. Fucking screen cap this for when any or all of this happens, and fuck this gay earth.
>>260703 >stylistically, IT is the most interesting skateboarding content creator to emerge in a bit. Look past the tranny shit, enjoy it for what it is. I do honestly, even as a chud. People talking about strange boners and other faggotry are asking for it though. >>260704 >You know the truth, nothing can remain pure in these current times, this channel is doomed. >>260227 there's no shortcuts to skating switch, you just have to do it until it doesn't make you want to kill yourself (I gave up early cuz fuck looking like I skate g**fy)
>>260281 nollie heels feel better than getting head though
(IMPORTANT POST) Thread maker here... Someone else is gonna have to take the reigns and do the the dirty work. I quit cause janny wants to be a fucking faggot, I'm out of here
>>260748 Since you're too cool for full length skate videos, any video by Ryan Lay or Brad Cromer if you want the solo session pure skating thing but actually good.
>>260767 >pros I don't think that first guy was seriously implying the tranny is anywhere near that good. We just see him skating and think "wow, he's literally me", except for the mental illness.
