I have a serious love-hate relationship with 2v8 because on one hand I usually play killer but the queue times make that a pain in the ass, however 2v8 sucks up all the no-brain potato survivors so playing 1v4 soloQ isn’t nearly as miserable as usual
they didn't change anything but this seems way more survivorb sided, am i crazy? temple of purgation is too big but iron works seemed okay, i think the biggest issue is maps are too big. i'm escaping/not getting kills way more this iteration than the last one. i play both sides because of play while you wait so it's not just killer main salt. i play trapper, dracula and wraith the most so like with trapper i accept a certain level of map RNG but even as drac and wraith there are so many pallets and maps are so goddamn big, with sprint burst on demand it's impossible to actually punish survivor mistakes.
i did manage to win a 1v8 on RPD as trapper after my teammate ragequit. we lost 4 gens with no hooks but they did all of the gens on one side of the map, so my side was fucking impossible to loop/get around, they checkmated themselves. it was very satisfying.

Need more animations where the characters are actually in an in game situation. I get horny when a female survivor pisses me off and activates my rape instinct. All of this is WITHOUT perks or add-ons. This isn't a tier list of any kind, just categorization.
Often: Most chases start this way for the killer. Sometimes: Chases may start this way for the killer.
Fast: Approaches survivors very quickly and can attack quickly or even immediately after arriving. Their fast approach may even BE an attack itself.
Sudden: Arrives suddenly, whether via stealth or teleportation or otherwise, but must complete some animation or inactivity period before being able to attack.
Stealth: Can become Undetectable without global warnings (eg Illusory Footfall), and are quiet until they are very close. Does NOT need to complete some animation or give 'warning' before attacking/grabbing out of Undetectable.
Uncertain: Can leave survivors in a state where they are alert, but can't actually know if the killer is even actually here without seeing or hearing them (eg Tier III Doctor Madness).
Controlled: From a very long way away, the killer can put survivors into a state that gives the killer an advantage when approaching them.
Ranged: The killer can take a health state off the survivor as they approach them.
Mild Advantages: Things that at least aren't nothing. -Legion very occasionally approaches fast with a fifth Feral Frenzy hit. -Clown can do things with his bottles, such as speeding himself up and slowing or contesting pathing for survivors. -Nemesis occasionally can do something strategic with zombie information. -Wesker's disarmingly large Terror Radius combined with a double-bound approach can be sudden. -Houndmaster can approach with Haste.
Notes: -Pyramid Head, without perks or add-ons, can never land a long range or surprise hit. -Trickster does not qualify for Ranged because he will virtually never take a full health state off someone as he approaches them. -Krasue almost always must change to body form after arriving in head form to infect a survivor, which is why she's in Sudden rather than Fast. A survivor outside of chase who didn't cure their infection is practically throwing. -Springtrap, Demogorgon and Chucky, while all able to attack/grab directly while Undetectable, create too much noise while Undetectable to go into Stealth. No survivor listening properly can be taken off guard. -Trapper and Hag may have advantages on approach via coralling survivors towards traps. -Vecna (Lich) should probably be in Sudden (Sometimes), I don't rememer how long his inactivity after Fly is. -This isn't a tier list at all, which makes Fast (Often) interesting to look at.

It's weird how many addons are tradeoffs but this is not only a straight upgrade but the only upgrade to decrease the teleport cooldown so it's pretty mandatory to run.

I'm really confused watching Otz. In his latest video, in the second game, the first gen pops in about 40 seconds, and then another one is about to pop not long after. He leaves a slug on the ground to go and stop that gen popping, chasing and downing the Steve on it. Then, to his surprise, the original slug he left has been healed up. Does any of this seem out of the ordinary out of you? Because he makes a big deal out of both things. He puts a timer on screen to show how 'quickly' the first gen pops, and then goes WHAT THE FUCK MAN, WHAT THE FUCK MAN, WHAT THE FUCK MAN over the slug he left completely alone being picked up. I really don't get it. Do the first 2 or even 3 gens not normally pop in the first 40 seconds with fuck all you can do about on EU servers without bringing Corrupt? I think the next event will be a FNAF themed event where you earn FazCoins for various cosmetics and they will add Foxy as a Blight skin. The Blight nerfs were in preparation for Foxy making him more popular.

Only way to fix the game is to add a sex mechanic. Let survivors buff each other by fucking... Additionally make a mini game where the last survivor can satisfy the killer enough to be automatically given a hatch escape. Sell animations, positions etc
Update, since I've not been here for months. The game is currently still unenjoyable on linux. There's a roughly 0.1s delay between buttonpress and ingame action. a killer main who has 2000 hours on one killer, no matter how shitty that killer is, is probably going to be as efficient as it's possible to be in each game he plays.
a single survivor in a solo queue game is only responsible for a certain amount of efficiency the survivor side as a whole can bring to the table, and even if they're playing optimally, their efforts can be counteract by just one other survivor who isn't doing what they need to. this can be due to inexperience, or maliciousness, or just by making the wrong call because they don't have full info about the state of the match, i.e. going for a save that someone else was already going for.
if each survivor in a game is operating at peak efficiency, they are going to win that game no matter how good the killer is. the only way for that to realistically happen though is for them to be a 4stack comp squad who each know everything there is to know about the game and are in constant communication on discord making callouts.
there are only so many comp squads like that queuing for a match at any given time, and with the way mmr works there's no guarantee that the 2000 hour bligger main on his 3000th win in a row is going to get matched with them.
increasing the individual power of solo queue survivors to the point that they can beat the 2000 hour bligger main without being perfectly efficient would mean that no killer would ever win a game again.

Not one that makes you click thrice to queue for a character. 5 times, if you wish to switch from one killer to another. I believe in information density and minimal fluff. houndmaster is great. it is annoying when snug decides to do a lap of the entire map before returning to you and you literally have no power until he returns, but it doesn't happen that often, like one in every three games. which yeah is completely unacceptable, but it's not like slinger shots bouncing off people multiple times per game or anything.
