It wasn't explicitly said this chapter, but I think I'd assumed that pic related (and the whole convo) was part of the reason Mikaze closed herself off. Like she felt that Yuka was forcing herself, even though the end of the chapter did the whole exposing thing. Also I didn't realize that the name was (intentionally?) wrong here. It's Fujishiro, not Fujiwara.
Anyway, I remember really liking this and the previous chapter when I read it through some OCR software, but that was a good while ago. So I really appreciate getting to read it properly. Don't remember what the next chapter is about. Thanks for the TL

I hadn't seen this daily. I just saw it and looked up this manga and thank you for bringing it to my attention

I've heard that the Cauldron Bubble Poison Shop chapter/characters were based off the books from the middle of the page here, but I'm unsure how true that is.

Napoleon I on his Imperial Throne" by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres.

Yuka going for the near-instant gaslight in this chapter I think shows how much she really was imposing and conflating helping/forcing help. You see it multiple times when Mikaze's parents fall back on using Yuka, where she seems less like achieving the wanted goal than direct friend concern. Which then goes far beyond during the revenge chapter.

Shrimp.
Fish can kill but Shrimp can have the stone coldness to kill.

All of Mozycry/Imitation crystal's works are worth a go and the storytimes are very neat for sometimes noticing little references or details.
Mission-Chan is also up there in a good argument of you don't always need perfect art to tell a good story,

>Gaslighting
Do you mean >>286344750 ?
I didn’t really consider that it might be that.

Yeah and the "Or am I over thinking it again?".
Sounds weird because we usually see gaslighting from the abuser to the victim (in which Yuka is the victim and Mikaze is wrong) but Yuka isn't using that line or the page you mentioned for the sake of getting a confession. She already completely knows what's going on, or she wouldn't have been crying or trying to get the teacher to talk to Mikaze. She's using both those lines to put herself in a position that she knows Mikaze better than she knows herself - as she did with the revenge arc where she overwrote Mikaze's sensitiveness with her idea of revenge/justice.
Like I don't think it's malicious, because the end of the chapter shows that she understands she did manipulative things and doesn't want to be abandoned.
Both girls are sensitive in different ways and I think it makes the entire manga very wonderful. Internal justice vs outside justice between those two girls finding a place in the world. Contrasted to shrimp who just wants to find her thing in the world but generally is okay living and understanding with the world. She's almost the pure free animal mode that Mikaze wanted in the early chapter.
